I can't really help you since you didn't specify what kinda map your making (I.E, Wave Survivor, TD, ect). As the AI setup changes depending on the map. I would suggest looking here, and at other peoples maps (don't steel anything.. :P) to learn how it works. http:wiki.sc2mapster.com/galaxy/triggers/category-ai/
I'm not sure how you made the Zerg all in team 2... but anyways, make each Zerg player a different team and use triggers to then make them alleys. If they don't attack or do anything, mess around with the AI settings (triggers).
Already tried that, but all the image borders I've found are to small, thus when I try to match the sizes, the image border repeats once it reaches it's max size. I'll try making the image smaller though, see if that works...
So, I've seen a lot of custom Dialog stuff, I'm working on an achievement system, but I was wonder if I could change the graphic/s of my Buttons and Dialog Skins (You know, Zerg/Terran/Protoss) to something that is not race specific. And how could I give an image that's in a Dialog a border?
Thanks.
Sure, your going to want to go to Data - Actors and find the Actor for the item your using. Go to Events - Enents +
Then right click and make a new Event. Then make that msg type "ActorCreation". And for the action for it, make it's msg type "Create" and find Mineral Glow, or Gas Canister Glow. You can change the colors of those in their actor settings.
So, I'm using items in my game, and I'm using custom models and such, but I have them kinda small so they don't really show up well in grass or thick areas. Is there I can add a "Glowing" effect around items not via triggers because I have it so units also drop items, unless triggers will work.
Thanks.
It's kinda Ironic, because If I'm right Blizz said this on the back of the SC2 game box "Blizzard Entertainment presents the future of online social gaming", and it's only taken about a month for someone to figure out how to bypass there "future gaming" network system :P. But hey, at least they gave us 10 map slots/50mb :D.... after us begging. Maybe someday we'll get a better system, Battle.net 3.0 anyone?
If you mean how to change which model it is, you can't. You have to place it and then delete it 'til you find the model you want. If you want to make your own models for, can't help 'ya there. But there is a 3DS Max Plugin for this kinda stuff.
Thanks for the reply, but funny enough, neither one of you read my edit, which said I found the other triggers for multi, lol. Anyways, really great system, maybe you could make it a Mod/Library to make it easier to import. Keep up the awesomeness :D
I was looking at this, and it looks very amazing, my only concern is, does this work with multiple people, 2 or so? Like, can me and my friend/s both be in TPS mode and switch back and forth as we will, or will it only work for one player to use TPS mode?
Now my question is, If I don't want all the RPG stuff (Leveling ect), should I just delete the RPG Library folder?
Just create a button named Empty Slot and give it the Icon: Assets\Textures\btn-border-transportslot-empty.dds
Then in your Container, on each one of your slots there is a section that says "Empty Face" use your Empty Slot for each one.
Oh, and Trunks, you just bumped a 117 day old thread.

Just as the title says, I've tried different ways, even via triggers. I've seen this done before. Could anyone possibly explain it to me?
