Oh, I did provide skins for it. They're really amature, but they're there. I'm adding armature to the reaver right now, so it'll be easier to animate later.
Sorry for the delay, I've been busy with SOTIS and Prison Break, both very entertaining. Been a little while but I think I'm done. I'm pretty substandard at texturing so this is all I can offer. The rar file includes a blend(model) file, UV Map (if someone wants to re-texture, emmisive, normal, and a spec. All of the files need to be converted to something sc2 will read.
The model is in blender format so SC2 will definitely NOT read it. However you can download blender and a plugin to convert it. Blender is a really really cool modelling program. If not, point me in the right direction, and I will glady do it for you. The model has no animations since i don't know how to even export the model itself.
The textures and UV map are in tga. Again, SC2 will NOT read it. It should be in .dds. I dont' know what the settings should be whilst in dds. I do not know anything formats well other then jpg, gif, and png.
I'm not too worried about anyone stealing my work cause it sort of sucks tbh. If you do though, just give a shout out, and I'll be happy.
Thanks for the reception. The vertex count is currently at 1750. I'm REALLY not sure about how many is too many. A scarab will be no problem. I'm reworking the general shape of the reaver right now (the fatness).
I really don't knw anything about the sc2 formats for models, the movements, and the texture file. Can anyone point me in a right direction? I looked at the m3 exporter in the 3rd part plugin section. I'm not sure how viable alot of things are right now. Most things are undiscovered yet. Team colors and animations being 2 very important parts of it. All I can do for you right now is to give you models for the reaver and the scarab. Textures involve team colors- I think?? Animations cannot be exported yet. Sorry about that. =P
I'm a taker if you tell me approximately the vertex/face/poly/ count you want it at. Contact me by pm please.
EDIT: Here's an image of the super super low polycount reaver. I can amp up the subdivisions if you want, but too many verticies will kill your gfx card. Especially if you're playing evo or something. Oh btw, it's unskinned. I just like blue, that's it. If you like it, I'll skin it.
