    Oh, is that the one from CGtuts+?
    Anyway, your unwrap (in)efficiency made me sad. Don't use auto unwrap.
    First of all: Uncheck "normalize map", and unwrap the tank thing as a cilynder, and the top part you can just use quick planar mapping, and then relax it.
    Rest is just quick planar mapping and stitching.
    Once done, figure out which parts need higher resolutons and scale accordingly, then fit everything into the 1x1 square.

    The blurriness comes from using Photoshop to generate MIP maps.zz StarCraft2 generates its own MIP maps, which get generated on top of existing ones if they exist.

    You can download 3DS Max from here.

    You get a 30 day free trial, and if you're a student you can get a free student license.
    If your university does not provide you with free student licenses,
    you can contact Autodesk directly and obtain one.

    They usually give them out to students, as long as you have a university e-mail address.
    i.e. .edu, .ac.uk, etc.

    <sub>Or if you've been on the internet longer than a day, you should be able to figure out how to obtain a license.</sub>

    You can't download the show, but you can watch the re-runs.

    As far as I know, you can't do that.
    Because player names are returned as a Text type, and it does not support any operations other than replacing parts of it.
    Maybe someone has a workaround for this problem.

    Otherwise, the native function name is StringSub(). Don't think it has a GUI analog.

    As s3rius said, you can not access date/time. But there is a sort of alternative.
    What you can do is count the seconds spent inside the game, then just convert that to HH:mm:ss and use it as additinal information for the player.
    i.e. Save 1 : Time player: 1hour 44 minutes

    I'm afraid I have to agree with the others on this one. You did not make the model, but you did make the animations/attachments.
    With that said, it looks pretty neat. Good job.

    My only gripe about it is that when the target is close to it, it looks a bit off due to the angle of the top part. So it looks as though the projectiles are magically changing trajectory as they are flying out.

    As far as game and level design, and modelling, me and Xaragoth will be more than happy to help.
    And if you need testers on EU, feel free to give us a shout for that aswell.

    We both really like NOTD and have great hopes for the StarCraft2 version.
