I have a building set up to change into another building when the ability is used. Everything seems to work ok but the price. The price seems to reflect that of the normal building. I've checked the ability and the cost is set to 0 for everything. For one it even gives me 50 minerals back. I'm new to the data editor and can't seem to figure out why the price wouldn't be 0.
Also how would I make the building turn into the warp in animation for protoss buildings?
I know you can set wsad controls and mouse look. But is it possible to set the controls to work for a game controller? I'm thinking if I ever decide to make it I'll want it to have the option of a controller being usable. It'd be nice if it did.
Does the morphing work if you make the morph animation into the protoss warp animation? I want to morph a protoss building into another protoss building. Would the warp animation work?
Anyone ever tried this? If I can just get the obelisk to change into the building that could work also. I just need to know how to make it change. I've never been good with the data editor.
I want a probe or something to walk up to an obelisk and then have a menu pop up asking what to build it into. How would I go about that? I've been thinking of how to do it, but I can't seem to find out how.
I'm nowhere near skilled enough to try to ask for a position. But I was wondering is how do you make it turn based? I'm trying to wrap my head around a turn based map where each player takes turns. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it.
Sounds awesome. Could you add Space Pirates models? Do you add them or replace over current models? I think space pirates could use Zeratul's animation. Depending on which versions you use I think they have one sword.
I'm trying to make a map for dota but I can't seem to make the map right. it's basically nine platforms with bridges connecting them all. But I keep running out of space. It's going to be a 3x3 layout with the center being wider than the other side. Anyone got advice for this style map? I got a picture of where the map I'm trying to remake.
Can someone go over what everything does or why you set it like that? I'm still learning through the galaxy editor but I'm really interested in making UIs. But every guide I find tells us what to do and not why we do this. That's not a tutorial those are instructions. It'd be nice to know what I'm doing.

Umm, I might be doing something wrong but when I right click that drags the camera around. I go to edit and copy is greyed out.

You could try using this tutorial. http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/tutorials/757-data-how-to-have-a-custom-loading-screen/ Use the quoted one. It works for multiplayer and it much simpler. I can try it for you if you want.
