Add a trigger that says to make the item for the triggering player that killed the last unit, make the item = to their player, then make a trigger that only allows a player to pick up their items.
Ie. Player on gains item
item not equal to owner player 1
drop/remove item from player inventory
display pick up error
We currently have one role open. We have 2 members working hard on this map and would like to bring in one more person to help polish some areas. We are looking to create an innovative RPG map unlike the uncreative ones currently being hosted. We have worked on other RPG projects for SC2 and war3.
Skill Creator
-Must be proficient with the Trigger editor
-Must know the Data Editor
-Must be active weekly and have one messenger: MSN/AIM/SKYPE/GTalk/etc.
To apply
-Create a test map with the designated skill.
The skill must be working, but can be in a rough state (icons and other details can be missing, but the skill must work)
Skill
The hero creates multiple shadows of himself that will mimic every single movement/animation he does. These shadows will also perform abilities that the hero do, but will all deal reduced damage. Each shadow is weaker than the previous. 'The Shadows are invulnerable and cannot be selected or given any commands
-Create a usable the skill in a map
Visually, it should be as if the hero has a trail of shadows when he moves like the high Templar.
errr yes but it will be more complex then you want. You have to make a misc. container and then only allow a single person to open the inventory (which would be made of dialogue items). That would be about the only way to do it
ooo just a tip for your terrainer... you can reuse a map if you use a randomizing doodad placement system.. This way you don"t have to make tons of maps and such... it would save space too! That way you could make a few templates and then reuse them to make them seem different kinda like in FFT

No... The guns are attached to the models... the model has the gun on it... so you can't give the medic a gun unless you get a model for it.

Seems... simple... and simple maps are the best imo....
Couldn't you just do all Terrian but make different type of units based on the commanders?
Or were you thinking of doing a SC2 version of that kind of warfare?

Add the Liberty(campaing) dependencies under File -> Dependencies -> Add

Post an example of what you would like... I dabble in the data editor enough to be a bit proficient with it

Or as a side not, using triggers to place them in predetermined places makes it so you can reuse a map several times

Also you ask for help, but don't specify what kind of help you want... just terrain?
