The reasons stated above were simply multiplayer complaints. If this is pure Single Player/Campaign, Cloak should be fine lol.

Then perhaps give the Void Rays a cloak? Or Blink. Afterall, the have Void in their name and Stalkers talk about it all the time and they have blink. :D

Dark Void Ray should be the opposite of the Void Ray. It should start out kinda fast, and then get slower as it sustains its attack. And it should get stronger the slower it gets. Dark Warp Prism should have a small aoe summon when it's deployed.

Honestly, I think starting with the Zerg campaign 2nd was a bad move. I mean, Char was almost virtually cleansed of all Zerg, any Zerg off-world would have fallen into disarray after loosing their link to Kerrigan. The Queens would most likely turn on eachother, spiraling the Zerg swarm into another Brood War. In all honesty, I think they should just do the 'toss campaign and say "oh the swarm are trying to scramble together again after that staggering defeat, blah blah blah." like they always do.

The reason people sit there and complain about Blizzard screwing their games is simply because they water down their games and make them as simple as possible to appeal to a broader audience, which pisses off veterans, and allows scrubs to overrun our games. Such in WoW's case, I was able to hit end game in a little more than a month. It was not very fun to me, whereas, roughly 4 years ago, WoW was so much more fun and enjoyable to play because the game -wasn't- overrun with scrubs, gold spammers, and multi-boxers. And it was harder. And the only reason they allow multi-boxing is because it brings them more cash, while on the other side it ruins game experience when you're getting face rolled by 5 Shamans all critting for half your hp, per spell.

As for Starcraft 2, look what they're doing to their game. They're supposedly charging full price for each expansion pack which really is only worth buying for the Campaign. I mean, sure, you have a few new units, but it's not like they're going to overhaul the game engine, and remake every single unit from scratch. Especially since they use their own editor to make their game, cutscenes and all. I'm not saying it's wrong, but it's..meh. Oh, and can't forget the 60 dollars blizzard wants for SC2 when they've cashed in well over 200 million gross profit since WoW's release, and for each subsequent release after. And they crank out xpacs for WoW that just break more things, and take away the cool things that were added in the previous release.

tl;dr If you're too lazy to read this, then go do my achievement.

Or they can simply drop this whole "You're making maps in OUR game, so we win, go die." And that pretty much nullifies them having to deal with this crap. Not to mention they can slap on the "Online interaction not rated by the ESRB." tag and their good. It's what every other game company is doing and you don't see then getting sued for maps with nigger or that promote drug use in them.

And the whole point of this thread isn't just about the map, it's about the contradictory and ironic rules they set in place and it's been stated several times now that they didn't do it in past games simply because they were short of man power. But now that they have the people, they are going to police their games, which, is stupid. And which is why everyone's in an uproar, not because "OMFG SWASTIKA /CRY"

And I agree, WoW is still dominating, but it won't be after ToR. And as long as they allow multi-boxing, they will continue to dominate in sales.

Yes, because we are all pulling this out of our asses right? Because this is the first time Blizzard has been this anal about something so completely stupid, right? Because, this is the first time people have complained about bad choices on blizzards part, and blizzard not making up for it.

    Here's an example:

Look at WoW 6 years ago. It was a great MMO that completely fucked all other MMO's ever to be created over the next two years back at release. It actually took time and dedication to actually get anywhere and you couldn't reach end-game in a month. Now look at what Blizzard has done to WoW simply because they want to appeal to a broader audience because that gets them more cash. They want to pull in casuals who can pick up the game, and beat it in less than a month. You can pug the strongest fucking character ever to exist in lore and don't even have to try. What has Blizzard done to bring back the old feeling of WoW that 80% of it's playerbase on a daily basis states they miss? Not a damn thing. What about the gold spammers and gold farmers that hog up your channels and spam you randomly? Nothing's done. They simply do not care about their player base anymore or their community. How long as this popularity system been in place? And how long have people been complaining about it? I'll answer for you, the moment the system became flawed. And it's been quite a while.

There has been two patches to Starcraft in 2 weeks. Both that fix problems I've never even seen before. What about the count down timer that everyone complains about? What about this crappy popularity system that's been implemented that's killing maps I've never even heard of because they are at the bottom of the popularity list? Why did they water down multiplayer? What happened to the broad choice of units from the first Starcraft? Why is the game 60 dollars?

Also, you mention TOS's and UELA's. Have you read the map editors? It states that the map editor (Which this whole thread is based on) is not supported by Blizzard themselves, when they're the one's who used the damn editor to make the game in the first place. And that customer support will not help with Editor related issues. From what I've seen you guys post on here, custom maps are the soul and heart of Blizzards games, and Blizzard could give a shit less about the people who use the Editor, or they'd directly support the tool themselves. Blizzard wants to regulate something they don't even support.

    GG

"Blizzard posts a set of terms of use, everybody goes absolutely MENTAL over it, claiming this is part of an elaborate scheme of 'Blizzards downfall', I point out that it might not be that bad though even readily admit that there might be something fishy going on about Blizzard".

It's not Terms of Use, it's "We want to make the game a nice place for little kids to enjoy and have fun playing! ^_^". Last time I checked, the Halo series was rated M, and Starcraft is a lot more violet than Halo. And look at the player base of Halo, or any console game for that matter. Most console games are rated M anyways.

Now you cleverly reply "Oh you silly retard! The rating M 6 years ago isn't like todays rated M!" Correct. It's rated based on what is deemed mature at that specific time period. Have you seen movies rated 14+? They contain sexual content and violence. That was the rating M 6 years ago. Starcraft itself is rated T and have you seen how the units die? Jim Raynor drinking scotch all the time? Or people smoking all the time, or the skimpy dressed lady on Tychus' shoulder? Or the skin-tight leather Kerrigan's wearing? (Which is sexy as all hell) Or the blood and suggestively disturbing Zerg creatures in the flashback with the Ghost Kerrigan?

And WoW was the elaborate downfall of Blizzard.

tl;dr person the post is directed at is a moron.

    /rant over

On a side note, Blizzards pathing could have caused the Swastika because have you ever used the "spawn unit then move to point" trigger? They usually go there in a line and it's fairly easy to form a swastika.

Your map wasn't removed because of cursing or dirty imagery(I think). When I loaded this up in the editor and tried it out my computer ground to a stand-still when the stalkers got to the command center. There were events firing WAY to often and my frame-rate dropped to 1-2 per second (nvidia 275, 8gb of ram, i7 processor). In my opinion "inappropriate content" here is the fact that it interrupts game-play for their customers by exhausting to many resources and slowing frame-rates substantially.

Look at this link in regards to WoW UI Mods: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=16102301679sid=1

Add-ons will perform no function which, in Blizzard Entertainment's sole discretion, negatively impacts the performance of the World of Warcraft realms or otherwise negatively affects the game for other players. For example, this includes but is not limited to excessive use of the chat system, unnecessary loading from the hard disk, and slow frame rates.

I'm pretty sure they don't care about your "Bad-Ass Wave", but more about how you are affecting their customer's computers with content downloaded from their servers.

This is hardly front-page news... =\

Starcraft 2 =/= World of Warcraft The only reason that's even there is so Blizzard doesn't get spammed by retarded players asking why their game lags so much. Not to mention WoW is designed to rake in as much cash as possible by being able to be played on something as powerful as todays phones (exaggeration). Plus, I want to believe that people would QQ to the map makers, not Blizz. But, I could be wrong..

EDIT Gonna try out your map right now Cyrileo. :P
