I just read your tutorial, and it's awesome! Your attention to detail is really showing, and the screenshots laid out through the tutorial were pure eyecandy. I honestly cannot wait to see the whole thing, that's how pretty it was!
As long as it makes sense for all three groups (Protoss, Dominion and Zerg/Samir Zerg) to be there, any tileset is great, really. I'm assuming it's a more traditional AoS layout, and I had originally wanted to perhaps try things a little different (nothing in specific, just trying to think of a map layout that would fit the requirements and the bases, neutral creeps, etc would be in different positions or everything would interact differently), but you've gotta start somewhere, and it's way better to avoid trying to revolutionize right away. Best to start with a solid layout, like yours, and perhaps the second map could be different. Would you still be interested in participating as a partner in designing everything else (concept-wise)?
P.S. I'm sorry if I wrongly assumed that your map is laid out like most AoS maps :X

I'm a programmer by trade and have recently picked up the Galaxy editor. I've more or less mastered it by now.
I'm looking to create a DotA-like map, with quality over quantity as a core value, some ingenuity (no need to restrict ourselves to the traditional DotA-style map layout or game design concepts - making some changes is fine) and story and heroes that make sense in the StarCraft universe.
I feel like I could get it to a somewhat satisfying milestone on my own, but it'll take me a long time to get the terrain, doodads and of course - the map layout to a point where I'm completely satisfied with it. I would rather have someone who's experienced do that. A good candidate can also take criticism and wants to discuss design as a whole on an equal basis (I won't attempt to "dictate" anything to you).
To summarize, you do the terrain, doodads and map layout, while I do everything else. Of course, we both get to decide on design for everything, and the work distribution isn't set in stone.
Here's the concept: - Map name: Purification by Fire, referring to purifying infested humans (campaign spoiler: ___ what Selendis and Raynor talk about). Although it sounds good and makes sense in its unabbreviated form, PBF or PF doesn't really slide off your tongue, so it's likely to change. Nothing is set in stone. - The two sides are the Protoss and a Samir Duran-led (?) Zerg force. The Zerg force might also be traditional Overmind or Kerrigan zerg, although if it's Samir Duran-led, that makes Hybrid heroes possible. - Neutral Creeps are Terran Dominion. Perhaps one side could be an Infested Terran base. Instead of a forest with scattered units, you could have a base (although it remains to be seen if it can be destroyed or if it will be functional - perhaps instead just a few small camp sites). The boss (if any) could be the Odin or something.
I have a bunch of potentially good ideas, but to try them out I first need a good map layout. Besides having you - someone who does not have to trial and error for a long time to receive something satisfactory to do this, you're also a brainstorming partner for everything else. Keep in mind, DotA should only serve as a vague guideline, and not as a strict technical specification.
