I was reading the link in Bone123's post (by the way thanks for that) and I discovered that the popularity system was even more crappy than I had previously thought. Plus the 5 min or more thing would be a real killer of short maps that are like SURVIVE FOR 1 MINUTE or really hard maps that could be cut short by all the loosing. I don't remember who said this first but it would be nice if it was an OPTION. May b they could even make a couple of options like maps being hosted now or in alphabetical order. All in all I agree that the popularity system should either be scrapped or put as an option. (If anyone finds a post by blizzard saying that they plan on changing the popularity system please make sure it is posted on the news ASAP =D)
I love the concept of this game I would say its perfect but i noticed only 1 thing from the video. when a player is the dead cow the bird suddenly stops moving around and that could give m away any way 2 fix that?.
In the Assets I have tried to download the map called Dialog Based Inventory but it keeps on giving me some strange pop up. The pop up is listed on my comment that I had made, something about able to be downloaded form the trigger editor. I even tried to import the dang thing but once I imported it I didn't know how to get it in2 the triggers/ data. long story short I am confused and I need help. This method of inventory would work great in the RPG that I am making. Just try downloading it yourself and you will see what I mean... unless its just me =(.
well one of the best that i have seen is in a map called Wow Style RPG you can simply Google it and that should lead you to it. plus there have been posted a couple of tps engines on Mapster
While I was making a map for 2 hours i slaved over a dialog that refused to be hidden. Then i decided that it was simply bugged. I was thinking over how to fix this bug and it occurred to me what do you do when your computer has bugged? you simply turn it off and restart it. so i copied, pasted and deleted the original trigger and suddenly the trigger worked. I am posting this just as a warning to people if a trigger is not working for no reason it could just be bugged like mine was =D. But it is most likely that you are taking the wrong approach, happy map making all!
at the moment i am attempting to make an RPG where you can choose from 7 different heroes and you can do quests for exp and money. over time you can also choose abilities that you want. this RPG is going 2 b a 3rd person map. One thing i have not experimented with yet is banks where you can continue from a saved point in the game with other players. but i have just started it and I am still having some troubles and i see more troubles in the future.

If there is no trigger to kill units in cargo then make a large location that kills that unit or removes it when you unload it. Ill start looking around the triggers for you. yeah all i can find is "kill (triggering unit)" (did that answer your question or did i just completely miss the point of your question?)
