when i said define simple i meant what part of it is simple? the concept i suppose is simple "defend your base while destroying the others" but thats about all that is, trying to make one isn't easy (ok for people here maybe it is but still not everyone is you guys) whereas 1 + 1 = 2, IS simple by pretty much every standard.

i admittedly havent made anything or created anything that i would consider workable but ive played around with idea's ive had and generally my thought process is as follows
what is happening in the map >> my idea is made
where is my idea happening >> make the terrain
(nearly all my maps involve a "hero" unit)whats my hero like >> make the hero in the data editor
what is my hero going to do >> basic triggers
then it repeats until i go overboard and drown in ideas
also someone else mentioned earlier that younger people had motivation but lacked experience whereas older people lacked motivation but had experience which i completely agree with
Star wars Knights of the old republic is definitely one of the best
you can play as one of 9 characters each with a different talent tree
you have loads of choice which can turn you into a dark sider and a light sider (different endings for both based on a final choice)
really good story until the 3rd last world
major plot twist
each of the individual characters has their own story you can learn
choices you make affect the entire game
lots of armors and clothes your characters can wear (or none if thats what you prefer though they still have underwear)
basicly if you haven't played it before don't go read up the story but go get it and play it through to the very end
i'd noticed that before if the interceptors couldn't attack you from outside the circle they flew into the circle and you lost lives unless they were attacking you
i really, really like the concept of arming a battleship like in voidcraft but would be much more fun if we could send commando teams aboard and take the ship apart from the inside out :p
Oatin's co-op mission is unbelievable and is a good example of what a good Co-op should be
but personally i think probably an easier format for a co-op mission would be something like "Breakout" or to a lesser extent "ghost of a chance", having one player control a single unit and use it to surgical effect against heavy defenses to allow a larger less surgical force to achieve an objective (with of course situations that dictate a less surgical surge :P)
Its 115 damage per EMP blasts, you fire 2 blasts, so thats 230 / 460 vs shield. Also, every point in intelligence increases spell damage by 1 % and there are items to further increase spell damage. It already has more damage than your average spell, and affects a huge area. And the higher tier units are not meant to be one-shotted by standard skills ;)
Still, balancing will be reworked anyway, so this might be changed as well.
I tested the localization issues with a friend. He confirmed, the german version has correct tooltips now. So I assume, most locals work correctly. If something is still broken for you, please report and tell me, which locale you are using.
