How would i turn a doodad into a unit, i cannot seem to do this. I can alter a units model, but that does not let me face it a certain way and things still run into it. How would i make it like a beacon?
I have like 4 decals that i have merged together to form a nice little group. How can i make this group a unit so i can use it in triggers... Because apparently i cant move doodads with triggers :/
okay since thats a pain in the ass. does anyone have any suggestions for blocking people with something that can't be seen? i can't use doodads, but is there a way to block marines and then later, unblock or delete the blockers?
since i cant control pathing blockers via triggers, how would i go about making an invisible unit that can block paths with the same attributes as the pathing blocker?
Create a new trigger, then under Events, select Timer Elapsed. Set it to 35 minutes. Then under actions, select what you want to happen after 35 minutes.
if its a normal melee map you need a trigger that has:
event: map initialization
action: melee - set melee starting resources for all players
melee - create melee starting units for all players
melee - start the melee AI for all computer players
melee - set default melee options for all players
EDIT: just checked your map, you have no map initialization trigger, try adding one. if you dont know how, click create new map, then go to triggers. there should be a trigger that says map initialization. copy and paste it into your maps trigger area.

this is going to sound stupid, but is there a way to put in conditions 'unit is in region'? for the life of me i can't find it.

You can delete doodads via triggers... A pathing blocker 1x1 is a doodad... so why cant a trigger delete them?
