Your solution is only for unit to walk into a bridge without awkwardness. Its easier to raise the terrain under the bridge and paint pathing there. The real challenge is to have 2 layers of pathing that unit can walk both on the bridge AND under it at the same time ( or even firing each other with the actual bridge as LOS blocker :) )
with my method you can have units walk under and over the bridge no problem. i dunno about having the bridge as a LOS blocker though. that's a tough one. cause with my method you can have a zealot on a bridge start slashing away at a marine underneath the bridge :|

Interesting challeng, though I doubt whether it is possbile to create a real map larger than 256*256. And I have suggestions for next challengs:
1. GE challenge: Cliffs more than 2 levels that work properly with ramps, units, etc.
2. Dat editor challenge: Bridge that really works so units can walk across / under it.
You can make working bridges with the trigger editor. Its kind of compex but you have to make a ramp under the terrain of both ends of the bridge. Make a trigger so then when the unit starts walking onto the bridge (and over the ramp) the trigger repetitively increases the unit's height using the Pythagorean Theorem until the unit is fully on the bridge and off the ramp.
Where the unit's new height is A and its distance from the top of the ramp is B and the length of the ramp is C (usually "4" for one tier ramps).
Set the trigger up so that the unit can't walk past the bridges edges while its on it.
And then do the same thing in reverse when it gets to the end of the ramp.
Are you positive you updated to patch 15? I reinstalled starcraft on my laptop and it kept looping patch 15. I couldn't figure out what to do and I didn't have the editor for a while. But I figured out that the only way to stop it from looping was to turn off my internet while it was patching.
very impressive visuals and effects. i like the cinematic style. like those guys said, it feels like i'm watching an anime version of sc2.
and i like how you put in those key sequences during the fight cinematics. it makes you feel more part of the game instead of just watching a movie or something.
can someone download it and save it with your updated version of sc2 so i can localize it?
i have a patch 14 version of sc2 on this crappy laptop and i can't patch it to 15 or 16 cause it just loops. anyone know how to fix this or is it just cause the beta servers are down?
edit: i think i patched sc2 to 15 and now the demo should be localized.
Very cool idea. With how comprehensive the Galaxy editor is there's no doubt in my mind that is entirely plausible.
I don't like the accuracy idea however. Seems too luck based and doesn't reward players for going for risky shots beyond the 3 point line.
I say you use you're power idea. When the player stops and gets ready to shoot, have a custom function that calculates the exact power he needs to make the hoop. And if the player shoots with power in a certain range of the result of that function then it automatically shoots with the perfect power and he makes the shot.
1 Player: Download the map and drag the file over your Starcraft 2 icon to play it LAG FREE
2 Player: Look up "Metal Slug [Act 1]" on Battle.net (only on US servers at the moment)
This is the first part of a map series based off of everyone's favorite arcade side scrolling shooter, Metal Slug. Most of the game play is derived from the arcade version.

shameless self-bump.

i dunno if this is what you did... but you can just make the train a unit with a ground mover and have your triggers order it to move to a position.

That way the player has more room for error.
Good luck.
