    You've impressed me a lot, my favoryte thing on the map is how you made the unit spawn. A ship is coming, and deliver it's cargo. Wonderful!

    HI Cbasz95!

    well i made something like that on a battle ship map in WC3.

    Here's what I made:

    You need:

    Region: Any region.

    Units: A farm near the region.

    You make:

    A periodic event trigger that react every 60 seconds.

    Action= If then else.

    If: OR: Owner of Farm is equal to player 0; Owner of Farm is equal to player 15.

    Then: Do Nothing.

    Else: Create 5 marines for the ''owner of Farm''.

    A Unit Enter Region Trigger that react every time a unit enter the region.

    Action= Set owner of Farm equal to owner of trigering unit.

    So that will make it like every time somebody enter the region, it give the control of the spawned unit to the owner of the entering unit, which don't need to stay on the zone to keep it owned.

    Easy and fast enought :)

    Hi Mapsters!

    My name is Mike and I'm doing my best to make an awesomely amazing map. I need help!

    Here's my questions

    1st: How to make an action being << Selected list items >> be an << Event >> I'll explain, i want my list box with indexes be interactive. When the player select one of the index in the list, it would make a certain thing change, dialog or whatever. So how to make the << Player X select item index 1 in the list >> an event with the action << Show Y Dialog >>. Or it could be << Player 1 use dialog item ''List box 1'' with index 1.... well i dunno. Please, any help is welcomed.

    2nd: Are indexes in the List box starting at 1 or 2?

    Ps: I'm talking about the list box here, not the Pulldown.

    Exactly like P. said, and it would be even more gruesome, amazing, or whatever you can call it, if explosion had impacts on the ground, like a siegetank firing on a marine target, would let down there blood, the corpse wouldn't desapear and a small black area.

    Best parts: the beach with the water, love sc2 graphism! the tower are amazingly well placed, and the blue thors you fight. 4/5

    ''their fps lowered to <30'' no problems for me on that part, my fps is under 20 all way long! my comp sucks a bit... but someday i'll have a top one :P

    You don't need a button, make it so the player must click a second time on the quest item, by setting a boloean variable for each of the 3 items being shown= true or false.

    This is amazing!

    I'm not a fan of FF at all, but i love to see incredible system, and that is what you made so far. 5 / 5 brother. There is just something I found a little bad. Sure I'm not a final fantasy fan (FFF :D) and I don't know anything of it's story BUT you've said that you were doing you own story and all, SO I think that the item POTION should be named MedKit or something. Cause potion means magic and their is no magical properties in SC2, but the magic of the story and gameplay, but know what i mean? That's not like warcraft 3, with spells, it's more realistic. And potion isn't something real. That's why I'm saying that you should think about making your own item looking like huge Tech more than pure Magic.

    Anyway, I would appreciate to see what you've done inside the map, trigger I mean. I'm a map maker, an amator.. :) , and I love to improve my skills. EDIT: When you'r done with the job, or ready to push in ^^

    2nd-The size of the map can't overweight X Mo. (Don't remember exactly, in Wc3 it was 8 Mo)

    And that's all about the trouble you may encounter.

    For the 1st problem, if you aren't publishing in multiplayer, that wouldn't be troublesome anymore because with banks you could save data from a map to an other. It would be possible to do such a thing in multiplayer if you were giving each datas keys in a Save/Load character system. But it would also takes years and much much patience :)

    But that, everything you said is Completly possibl, you could even pushs it farther. For the ressources, the easiest way would be to make them as variables that show on a leaderboard as strings.

    This is a remake of the Warcraft 3 Castle Fight Map, and sincerily, the w3 one is hundreds time better than this one. First of all, there is tooo much units usable. Their is no points on using all of them. Player should pick up a race at the beginning, it would enhance the map playability. A second, the terrian sucks reallly really hard. It's like a whole plain.

    For having played it several time, I give this map a 4/10. I've played it only because i wanted to try something else than the Diamond league match-up :)

    Blizzard says they plan to remove region fixe someday, near the first extension release. And they will make a point system which will call the top 200 starcraft player in each region.

    The game is out but they are still working really hard in it :P
