thing is, im trying to use it for a buncha things....... see how custom value has an index ? (the 0) that means i can probably set 0 to ... lets say 20 and 1 to 30 and 2 to 10 and call it all back
and do arithmatic with it and stuff
if i were to use an unused arbitrary value, it'd have to be something that can do something like that..... like a tooltip or something
also Catelog = all units of the type, im trying to work with individuals
its dissapointment i feel because i feared this was the case, why must we have to go around the bliz-ready items to achieve our goals?
i thought of making fake items myself before but it seemed like such a task, but if i wanted to make weapons and such like so many other games where you could attach things mod them in ways, seems like u kinda gotta
i tried swapping out behaviors on things before but it never worked, and changing the item name and tooltip did so for every instance of that item, which isn't good if you want a custom weapon
seems i might have to do it like u do it, if i wanna get the customization i want

who what where why when and how does this work?
is it creating an actual item with alterable behaviours and naming it?
can it modify an already created item?
if it can modify, does it change the 1 item or all of it's type?
if it were used in 2 seperate instances to create an item with identicle stats behaviours description etc..... does it save as the same item or 2 seperate items?
i wanna open it up and disect it, i need 2 kno how this works
cuz i have no clue how a borderlands type game or a diablo game could be done with what galaxy gives us, i have no clue how to trigger-change an item's buff
i think if one were to make a game of this though, i think the maps would need to all fit in 1, which could be done if everything was made micro
well if anyone is planning on this, i dont think we should restrict players to just 4, there is a nice supporting cast of Flying Birdmen, Buzz Buzz, Pickey, King, Dungeon Man, Tony and last but not least Bubble Monkey
Bug or oversight - Using the double turn move from the Zealot, on the Zealot, makes a waste, just make it not click on him
suggestion #1 - Faster speed or changable speed
suggestion #2 - Music (but im sure you've heard that lol)
suggestion #3 - Multiplayer, nothin too drastic, just the ability to play it with others clicking the same commands as the 1st player, or atleast as observers (though i dont think that'd be very fun lol

i get the main game doesn't deal with items, so it wasn't a priority, but not being able to do this kind of stuff with native items is a real bother
im gonna have to do like Mille25 did for starcraft universe n make my own "Items" then

custom value as in, the custom value you can set on units using a trigger like so
Actions Unit - Set (Picked unit) custom value 0 to 1.0
it uses reals and has no real purpose aside from triggers
Hint Text: Sets a unit's custom value. This is an arbitrary property that can be recalled using "Custom Value Of Unit".
