The "Key Pressed" trigger event still generates network latency (as said in the tooltip).
Blizzard said they were going to reduce the key input lag in a later patch so that it will be about the same delay as issuing an order through a normal right-click command. This has not happened yet.
The only way that it's viable is offline and single-player.
The reason WoW models being imported is popular is because Starcraft 2 and WoW are both owned by the same company, which eliminates most copyright issues.
Imported models from any other game will most likely get the map banned.
Sorry, not sure if I want to devote myself to any large-scale projects at the moment. I'd need to be convinced that you're serious about it and that you have a concept that is worth creating.
Anyway, since people seemed to like my quick work, I edited it a little to try to make it more true to the reference. Here it is:
Figured I'd make something for this, though I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I couldn't make something from my favorite game Persona 4, since Starcraft 2's assets aren't quite...suitable for that. So I whipped up something from Mass Effect, took about an hour or so:
Not really my kind of game, but I did play the practice mode for a bit. Looks very polished / presentable and like a lot of work was put into it. Good job.
Excellent work, although the team color on the Grunt looks a little bright and doesn't quite fit in. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that.
The elf already looks pretty good, although the arm clips through the cape in that animation, and the facial expression doesn't look quite...natural. Eyes, lips, and eyebrows could probably use a little adjustment. Can't wait to see more work from you.
I like how polished your UI design is but please use some custom made assets. Everyone is already bored of the blizzard assets. We see them used all the time. And creating a custom UI elements is really easy. All you need is a good image editing program(GIMP is free for example if you dont have PS) and google to search for some good ui elements. After that all you need to do is some basic recoler and to put it all together. Having custom assets really adds to the uniqueness of a project. Will follow this with interest.
Far, far easier said than done. Personally I'm still not completely tired of the SC2 assets, they're quite well-made. Custom models (of quality) are always welcome though, of course...but rarely does someone have a team / the time to invest in making such.
I'm certainly no engineer, more of an artist. Most likely my profession will end up being 3D Animation, though it could also be modeling, texturing, or concept art. Can go any way in the art field of Game Design at this point, as I'm still in college.
And I map because I want to see good maps, and I sometimes have ideas for them.

If I win I don't think I need the reward...I don't use add-ons, or even play WoW anymore for that matter.

I took the picture in the editor.
Also, I might make the Skyrim one if I get bored and have the time.

I edited my last post to include the map. It's a lot less awesome when you know how I did it, though. XD

The internet is just a glimpse into what people will do when they have no consequences for anything they say or do: A world full of idiots.
Your example is actually not that bad, compared to some of the things I've seen. Being lied to should be something you get used to quickly.
In the words of the great Albert Einstein: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."

I thought the definition of ORPG was an "Open Role-Playing Game"?
Nonetheless, it's always good to see someone putting some effort into making a RPG. The UI is looking pretty good.

I think the axe, shoulders, and belt textures could use some more polishing / details, but otherwise this looks quite nice.

If someone got offended by that, then playing any video game above the "E" rating obviously isn't for them.
Of course, these days you never know what things Blizzard will interpret as "offensive." Might as well just make the gamble.
