    I've tried a few things and can't seem to figure out how to embed a youtube video. I ended up just using a link to youtube. Could someone explain how this is done?

    in the unit, go to its weapon, and set it to the turret called "free rotating". Nothing else needs to be changed, usually.

    posted a message on How to make burrowed units 'hostile'?

    Although there may be more elegant ways of accomplishing this, one interesting idea is to give the burrowed unit a gauss rifle that doesn't have any visual or damage :P then, do a trigger for whenever any unit attacks, if it is of the burrowed type, it unburrows. :P

    Like I said, there are less contrived ways, but this one is a fun idea :)

    I haven't worked out the "less contrived" way entirely in my head, but it would be something like a behavior that creates a search area that calls an effect that eventually causes the unit to unburrow. Like I said, I haven't figured it out in my head, but something like that.

    Also, if the units are premade, then you can do the event "unit enters range of unit".

    Trigger is easy: Event - periodic event (time between zergling spawns) Action - Pick each unit in (units in region matching condition (spawning pool for any player blah blah)) -Action - Create 1 (or however many) zerglings for player (owner of picked unit) at (whatever position... perhaps position of building with offset).

    Alternatively, you could give the train zergling ability to the building within the data editor, and have it use that ability every so often in a trigger.

    posted a message on Vespene geysers and refinery placement are backwards.

    In the data editor, it won't let me place a refinery (as well as assimilator and extractor) on a vespene geyser, and it DOES let me place it everywhere else. When i run the map, I can manually place a refinery on the very same geyser, and it doesn't allow me to place them elsewhere.

    I've checked my refinery unit, geyser unit, and footprints, and everything is in working order. Is there anything else that could cause this kind of strange behavior in the editor?

    posted a message on Curse vs. SC2mapster.com: What's the deal w/ maps?

    I was under the impression that curse was searching SC2mapster.com and organizing the maps from here. However, I just played poker defense for the first time, and really enjoyed it. I wanted to leave a comment with some suggestions, and figured I'd best post it on SC2mapster.com. However, poker defense isn't here, from what I can see.

    I was hoping for a unified map location, especially until blizzard gets their act together. Should I be using only curse to check out and comment on maps? Or am I mistaken and there's no affiliation aside from advertising for curse here? ... actually, now that I think of it, there's the same login... so whats up with poker defense not being here?

    Just confused. Any help is appreciated.
