I have to believe in what Im creating, see the end result, and know that it`ll be fun. Ive been having "beta down syndrome" as well, haven`t really focused on map editing. I just want to play the game!.
So really, nothing should be forced. Take your time, there is no rush. When you are editing in GE, make sure you are enjoying it;)

Yes your life probably does suck at the moment, but then again which person has never had that period?.
The thing is, its not over, it never is. As long as you are willing to succeed, God will provide all that is needed. Dont give up
As for the girl. Ive had my fair share of breakups too. It sucks, and its pretty hard emotionally too. BUT as cliche as this may sound, ITS HER LOSS. There are plenty of other women out there, and I know that you`ll find the right partner soon enough!. This obviously wasn`t meant to be with this girl. Accept all things as good and for your benefit and move on:)
Between you and I, I personally think girls just aren`t worth it:P(and I just so happen to be a hopeless romantic, well "was").
You`ll find the best relationship in due time, dont force anything or seek in futility what isnt there at the moment. Focus on your own life.
Dont lose hope in humanity, As we all here from Starcraft 2 mapster obviously care about you and what you are going through.
