The War3 editor was great for its time. Most of us were 12 or 13 when we made maps in WC3. The WC3 editor was great for people of that age to make games that other players would enjoy.

I don't think Blizzard has realized this. They don't realize many of the people interested in making maps now are the same from WC3. But we're not 12 or 13 anymore. I'm 22. I think I was either 12 or 13 when I got WC3.

The capabilities of Battle.net and the editor should have aged with its audience. Instead, they just decided to target the same people they did with WC3. That's why they aren't listening to us. There was so much potential for the SC2 editor to be used to create full, real games completely unrelated to SC2. They might have assumed it was pointless to put that much effort into developing the editor, but they were wrong - it's not pointless, because the dedicated users of the WC3 editor have aged since then. And they're much more mature and intelligent.

Blizzard seriously screwed up. Instead of a system capable of creating and distributing high quality full games, we have a system for creating and distributing stupid little mini games.

It's annoying to have to compete with other maps, even when they're of completely different genre. If you stop releasing updates, the map becomes less popular. So you have to constantly work at your map once it's released. If you take a break, the map just becomes forgotten. It makes the whole thing seem pointless.

There should be some way of recognizing maps that were at once popular.

Just release updates. People do that unless you release updates constantly.

I don't know what it does, that's why I was asking.

Skype probably isn't necessary. I'm going to attempt to do with by launching a new projectile first.

I can actually get the angle of incidence if I use your suggested method. I could use a trigger using an event with the collision effect to launch the new missile at the reflected angle. However, then I have to hardcode it for each type of projectile, which I hate doing.

Is there any way I can do it without shooting a new missile?

Well, my question is, how do I change the projectile's path at all?

Right now, my projectiles move a set distance in the direction they're targeted, like the missiles in the Lost Viking arcade thing. How do I modify their path when the collision is detected?
