    How would I go about making differnt damage types and resistance? I don't think I can use the armor system because that would just take so much from each type. What I want is lets say I have a spell that does 100 poison damage, and I attack someone with 50 poison resist, 0 lighting resist, 25 fire resist, I would do 50damage (100-50)

    Thanks got it, but now for a something that im not sure is even possible, but hopefully or at least an easy version of it. So when I click the target location and make my forcefields, would it be possible to make lightly colord forcefields showing me where they would be placed if I were to cast it? If thats not possible would at least making a red line be possible?.

    I tried looking at the ghost emp ability, to find how they made the red circle cursor, which isn't what I want but I couldnt even figure that out sadly, every model I click is just a tiny white dot, so dont think any of them are it

    Got it, was my mistake had snare multiplier on buff 0. Took me awhile to notice to lol, I went to make a test map for you guys, and it worked fine, was like wtf this works exactly how I want it, then finally figured it out on other map, dunno how to delete a post though

    I made a debuff to lower movespeed by 50%, works woohoo ! made a buff that increases movement speed by 50%, works woohoo !

    problem is my buff wins no matter what

    So lets say I cast my debuff on my target hes now moving 50%slower, so I cast my buff now hes moving 50% faster(50% faster then his normal movespeed) as if the debuff wasn't even on him.

    Trying the opposite order, I thought maybe 2nd buff just wins, but nope, Cast 50% speed buff, then debuff the target, its like nothhing happens :( hes still 50% faster. It does show the debuff icon on his little UI on bottom so I know its applying, its just not doing anything for some reason

    How would I go about making an ability that I target an ally to heal him, it also heals me. Not sure if it would matter, but this is going to be an upgradeable ability, what I mean is that I would need a way for it to be possible to have a no heal on myself at one point. When I first learn the ability, it only heals my target, but when I level it up, is when it also heals me

    How do you change a .sc2map file into .sc2mod also does it work the other way? I have a .sc2mod file. I would like to change to .sc2map so it will allow me to place units again, so I can test some new models and stuff, then change it back to a .sc2mod

    searching the site it says its as simple as just renaming it to .sc2mod however where am I doing this? becuase when I do that all that happens is something like spells.sc2mod.sc2map so it don't really change it, I right click the map/mod and click rename but all the happens is im changing the name, not the extension

    PLEASE answer how to get spaces back in forums, I don't even wanna use site anymore lol :( just started today

    How would you create brush similar to League of Legends(inside the brush you are invisilbe to people outside the brush, unless you attack an enemy. anytime someone enters the brush with you, they can see you

    K well good news is I found out how to remove the green square.(hide cursor) from the unit flags. Bad news is it didn't solve my problem like I thought it would. Any ideas? hope I'm explaining the problem enough.

    Whats happening is im a Zealot at 1.7 size, when I fight a zergling, if the zergling is on the right, easily clickable, left same, bottom same, but when its above me, my hero is covering it so I barely even see the zerging, I cant click it is the bigger problem though, I want to be able to have the cursor turn red basicly when im over the zergling(though it would look like its on me) and be able to click and attack him.

    btw I should of explained that the map is like diablo where you move with mouse clicks, and cast spells with the mouse clicks

    I know how to get rid of the target circle on the bottom of units, and changing the radius of a unit doesnt seem to do anything for some reason, I thought it was for collision? Zerglings with 99radius still can be right next to each other though.

    Anyway the main problem I'm having is my hero a zealot, who is bigger then normal size, when I have small units above me, its hard to target them because I dont get a red box, its only the green box, because my hero is so big, is there a way to remove this box? or make it so I only target badguys?

    I was kinda second guesing myself also, So I went and tried D3 beta then also D2 just to make sure, and ya both let you click far away, and you would run to that location without holding it if you wanted to.

    I coudlnt get it to work on your map but I'm extreamly bad at this kinda stuff, want to get into though. If its not that much trouble, and seems like it would be easy, if you have the time could you update it? or another version? for my Xmas present?

    It's almost perfect however, you need to always hold down to move to a location, is there a way to change that? Example. In diablo when you click far away like almost full screen, your char, will walk there, I dont need to keep it held, he will walk wherever I clicked, I can keep it held down to keep moving and that is what you do normally but once in awhile you just click a spot like lets say I wanna wait near the den of evil so my friend can see me on the map to find it also, instead of holding down the mouse till I get there, I would just click the spot and go there Small addition, but think it would make it better, and perfect replica :).
