lol where'd that flame go, in regards to shooting from the center, just go to actors tab, find the one called hellion attack and under the field "attachment - launch attachment query+" change AMFilterWeapon to AMFilterCenter
Multishot ability like amazon from diablo 2, using marauder missiles, to be more helpful multirank with 4-5-6 missiles
Fury from diablo(druid)- you attacked multiple times it could all go to the same target, but if others were around then it goes to others like 5-10attacks
a move like scorpion from MK, but you use a rope of lighting to grab the target and pull him closer
a move where forcefield appears infront of you, you throw it in the air, then you teleport in the air, grab it, and throw it towards a target unit(to much?)

Would it be possible to make a short tutorial with [some] of the spells you create?
Name can be whatever, really, but if you need something: Charged Power Shot, with a 10 second CD, no energy requirement.
I really wanted to have a charged up power shot [akin to the x-buster in MegaMan X] that will stun a target for a few seconds [akin to the energy blast Vile uses when you fight him the first time and Zero shows up to kick ass.]. If you're unfamiliar with that series then a blast effect [like the yamato cannon] that stuns will be great.
I'm clueless on creating new abilities though, currently I've been using the Yamato Cannon as a placeholder.
Ahh ic, I would have to look at your map to find the problem, if you want to add either my Aim, Msn, or Xfire.
Or if you want I could just make a version of it myself and explain how i went about doing it
Hello fellow mappers, don't have enough time/not sure how to implement an ability idea? Well never fear, In order to better acquaint myself with the editor I have decided to take requests to make custom abilities.
In Regards to Request Format
I'll need a Ability Title(not required) and a short description of what your idea/concept is. Also if you could add some other method of contact like Msn/Aim/Xfire or a vent server (Not Email since it is the same as a forum but more of a hassle) since relying on people checking the forums every 2 minutes is not a realistic expectation. If I find an idea interesting or I am just bored I will contact you for specific details/guidance then get to work. As well as creating the ability I will also attempt to explain to you how it works and how it can be changed/modified.

Creates a sphere of spinning energy rings at target point, the energy rings create a powerful Temporal Energy within the core. The caster then creates an energy cylinder which generates a beam strong enough to destabilize the Temporal Energy. At this point the destabilizing Temporal Energy will create 3 Temporal Fields at random points around itself, after a few seconds anything not inside a Temporal Field will be consumed by the rift and transported to an alternate dimension.
This Spell was done completely through the use of the data editor, triggers were not used in any way.
How exactly did it work ?(mothership's recall dont have queue i guess). I would prefer unit to stop as their route has already been changed. Your change caused a bug in AI that caused enemy unit to run back to their old target before ported (even if it was teleported mile away) and ignore everything in the new position. Some visual glitch like zealot's hair leaving a trail across the map (all other model particles)
Ahh yes, it seems that the teleporting causes the AI's to return to their leash position. As for the hair, I'm at a loss there's no reason for the model to stretch since it is teleporting. I could understand if it was just moving really fast but i don't think that's the case
It doesn't really matter though queuing actions for after the portal is not really a big deal I'm sure if you really wanted to do it you could figure out how to fix the AI.
Id rather showcase innovative spells that lead other people to think about how the spell is made.. I personally think the learning process is by far faster if you think yourself instead of just reading how its done.. the community should help each other, thats obvious.. and if there is a specific problem, i really like to help, but if every problem a new mapper has is solved by some senior mapper, the community wont evolve as the new mappers will all be dependant on the ideas of the senior mappers instead of them having their own great ideas..
and yes, i am the type who thinks: "give someone a fish and he has food for a day, teach someone how to fish and he has food for the rest of his life"

Done entirely with data editor. No trigger was involved.
Create Portal Entrance
Create an entrance portal that teleport All unit stepped inside to an exit portal you owned. Invulnarable and untargetable. Last for 30 seconds. Only teleport if an exit portal is available.
Create Exit Portal
Create an exit portal that receive all teleportation from all of your entrance portal. Will destroy all previously created exit portal owned by you. Has 300 HP and last 30s. Halt all teleportation if killed.
A simple guide/tutorial will be posted later. Based on forcefield and mothership recall
I was playing around with your spell and realized you couldn't queue actions for after a unit teleported. So i decided to play around with it and added the functionality, Tell me what you think.
