    Sorry guys, for being gone for the past few months... I have a reason. my hard drive failed, so I had to get a new one :P but being gone for this long has dulled my knowledge of basic data editing, and ive been bussy with work and school, etc. so I will not be much help for many people... I will not be here for very long at any time for a while so yeah. again, sorry... I hope you'll understand.

    Some of these are quite difficult (in my opinion) the only one that I could figure out right now is the heal wards, would you want it to be a casted locaition? or creating a unit like the medivac? cause there both accually quite simple all you have to do for the location one is make it search an area and apply a behavior for any unit that is in that location also add sounds and actors. but for the create unit one is pretty much creating a unit like the medivac, giving you this short explination is me assuming that you know some of the basics of the data editor but if you want more detail send me a PM...

    but like most abilitys you are going to need a few behaviors for each ability and most of the stuff that you would like the ability to do is in the Modification+ tab (in the behavior) and to link it to the ability all you have to do is create a apply behavior effect and then set your (in the ability that you are creating) abilities Effects tab to your apply behavior effect. and for sounds and visuals then create new actor then for sound its BasedOn SoundStyleOneShot and for the visuals then its BasedOn ModelAnimationStyleOneShot, the OneShot sounds and animations are the most commonly used BasedOns (I think so..) but all you do in the events in the actors then ignore the preset events and set it to Behavior ..Your Behavior.. and Start then Create and Behavior ..Your Behavior.. Stop then Destroy but thats about it, its pretty simple.

    What you mean like this?

    Player Group - Add player (Random integer between 1 and 8 ) to (Players on team 2)

    Player Group - Remove player Player from Team 1

    Player Group - Add player (Random integer between 1 and 7 ) to (Players on team 2)

    Player Group - Remove player Player from Team 1

    Variable - Set Team 2 = (Players on Team 2)

    The "player" that is capitalized is the integer...

    ok i made these triggers, but... When there are computers or other players in the game it will give ONLY player 1 a cat and a mouse and everyone else nothing... wtf is up with that?...

    Triggers

    Mouse Team, Events - Game - Map initialization, Local Variables, Conditions, Actions - General - For each integer Player from 1 to 8 with increment 1, do (Actions) - Actions - Player Group - Add player Player to (Players on team 1) - Variable - Set Mouse Team = (Players on team 1) - Trigger - Run Cat Team (Check Conditions, Don't Wait until it finishes)

    Cat Team, Events, Local Variables, Conditions, Actions - Player Group - Add player (Random integer between 1 and 8 ) to (Players on team 2) Player Group - Add player (Random integer between 1 and 8 ) to (Players on team 2) Variable - Set Cat Team = (Players on team 2) Player - Make all players in Cat Team treat each other as Ally With Shared Vision Player - Make all players in Mouse Team treat each other as Ally With Shared Vision Trigger - Run Mice Spawn (Check Conditions, Don't Wait until it finishes) Trigger - Run Cat Spawn (Check Conditions, Don't Wait until it finishes)

    I just released my map!

    During the StarCraft II Beta I published and earlier version of this map that was classic Cat n Mouse Jungle, but then I realized that alot of other people were trying to remake Cat n Mouse so I decided to make a totaly different Cat n Mouse that still had the same looks and feel but a whole new way to play it. I put my editing skills to the test by creating many custom abilitys and put them all into tiers so that once a player gets to a certain point they will beable to change the way the game is played...

    My map is currently in beta, "Why is it still in beta?" you ask. Well I had a really hard time to find people who would help me out so I released it to the public so they could test the map for me. I am fairly new to the new trigger set up (I dont have Wow ;D) and so I need a few of my triggers to be tested, but if you do end up playing the map then I would really love your feedback and your thoughts on how to make things more fair and fun.

    I need help on makeing a trigger, when the game starts on my map then I want it to automaticly select random players to be on each team, there are 2 teams and its going to be a 2vs6 game but yeah.. I just want it to randomly slect 2 players put them on the 2 player team and put everone else on the other team...

    also if anyone knows how to make a requirement for upgrades that make so when you upgrade one upgrade then it disables the others, like I have 3 upgrades and what I want it to do is when I upgrade one of those then it disables the other two... knowing these would help me out ALOT! plz help...
