Some of the stuff here is really nice looking. I hope to see some of these maps on the custom game browser one day... I believe that anyone can make beautiful terrain (e.g. change the default gray-lighting and add some decoration) for their map if they really want to. Even if it is just a TD or arena map. We're human... we love aesthetics.
Omg I just realized this problem yesterday too... it bugged the hell out of me... I haven't checked yet but I don't recall seeing anything on it. Maybe it'll require something from Blizz's end... we'll see.
When you do Unit - Issue Order... make sure to click the left bracket beside Ability Command to change it to a "order targeting unit" not "order with no target"
Not that I know of. Turrets = turning head to face a unit.
You're thinking of the weapon field called "Legacy" or w/e it's called... I believe that legacy means default no moving, and the other setting is like the phoenix and can shoot while moving. In fact, just look at the phoenix's weapon :D
It would be nice if Blizzard gave us the syntax... took me a while to get one data value one time... FYI try pressing ctrl+D to see full RAW name of what to reference... that helped me. Also, d ref seems to only do integers right? I wonder if we can link decimal/real numbers... would be good to know... my ability buttons have way too much text... I don't want to have to update the text every time i update the abilities's values... bound to have errors.
Hah I was just about to reply... wish the forums would email me if my thread has a response... but yeah you were giving too much exp from zerglings... it was giving insane amounts cause your min-exp values were so small
Latest tutorial is my attempt to give people a better understanding of the tools they use in the editor (or should use)...
On top of some data editor, trigger editor, and map setup basics... I made an aura and I show how to do Game Attributes (stuff the lobby host can set that will affect the map)
You don't have to make 10 buttons if you use non-passive button (dummy ability). I just liked passive buttons (non-clickable visual) and only had 3 levels. You would still have to make requirements for them. There is no current way of leveling passive behavior using Ability-learn.
Darn okay well that's all I needed to know... I wanted to do passive buttons WITH the ability through Learn... but I guess not doable atm without doing the requirements and dummy ability stuff ><
Edit: I see what you did... kind of "faked" it to look passive. I guess this is the last route I want to do, since I'd have to make 10 requirements for this and 10 buttons...

What do you mean by rank up as you level?
If you mean automatically... I'm not sure what's the best way... but I'm sure it can be done... maybe even through triggers...
