posted a message on SC2 beta Mac offline....

I was wondering if anyone knows a good application which will allow Mac users to select race. If you guys took a look at SC2Allin1 (hugh thanks to vernam7. I use bootcamp just to run this application!), the application is well written (as in programming) and design looks awesome, and it's improving one and one and one. Few hours ago, I asked vernam7 about building Mac version of SC2Allin1. Vernam7's response was very positive.

"@sooong ghhmmmmm oh boy the old MAC launcher topic

well define hard! nothing is impossible. but lots are unworthy!

besides that i DO not have a mac to test or start to develop this launcher! and in order for the mac version to be as good UI as this is well that not "possible" because of tools and components used in this that are windows compatible only!"

So, any chance somebody can port this app to Mac, write a new app based on this, or create a new app?

Wow, this is the best map so far I've ever seen. I mean, putting FPS and RTS together is just awesome! Really appreciate your job, and I am pretty sure if you put this map for sale, let's say $2, you will gain profit. I will definetly buy it. Currently enjoying WaterWorks!

    damn, this is nice!!!!!

It will be really nice if one person is shooting and everyone else is fps, like others have said. If I wanted to test this map, where could I download this? This is in the brainstorming section, and therefore no download links.

out of topic, but does anybody know when Blizzard will be sending out keys for "out of US" Mac users, waiting for the Beta key? I am dying for it.

Here is the only reason that I want those kind of cracks: 1. I signed up for Blizzard's SC2 6 month ago, but I never got the key (or whenever the opt-in started, after the Blizzcon, and I also uploaded my Windows machine's specs). 2. I live outside of U.S., and therefore the Mac beta is not currently out yet globally. 3. I just want to get some practice with SC2, so that I will at least be on gold league when the game comes out.

Hey, I bought Starcraft Original and Expansion, and I love Blizzard. Now that they are doing the beta, I was happy about that until I realized I haven't got a key even after four months. I will definitely buy the game the day it comes out, but I need practice.

Please, if you know one, can you PM me? I am desperate, and I can't install Windows on Mac using Bootcamp because it's a pain in the neck.

Sixen, thanks for the reply. Well, my next questions is, are there any apps that does the same for SC2 Allin1, which is for Windows? I would be glad to find it, because I have been waiting it for 2 weeks searching for one.

umm, hey, Motiveme, you have done the great job on this! I have been searching around the internet, Googling every hour, just to find the map launcher. You have done it! One disappointment is that it doesn't look as good as SC2 Allin1 app for Windows. I am sure if you could do this, you can even create an application which lets you to choose race, color, and number of players. Is that even possible for now?
