    i have to rewrite my triggers compressing data and i need to know what the limits are as in one bug i had that a hero of player 2 was acutally loaded into a bank of player 1 but the trigger code is 100% correct and it only happened ebcause it wasnt loaded until the end and the hero was missing items as well

    like how many integers or strings can i load without problems? im not sure but i think it is around 370 integers

    i tried that before, but it doesnt work, i guess the index is missing which container has to be shown, but the indexes are not in the templates themself

    No, the answer was correct

    Do you have an idea if its possible to put an item container into a dialog as well?

    That would help to make excellent looking inventories!!! ^^

    P.S: and always opened that you dont need the item container open/close buttons anymore

    Files attached, i hope it helps you. To get a little help just put off or delete infos inside one of the frames like it has no mor eposition where to go if making it invisible doesnt work (like for me)

    Its a good start to put off the console first that you have only the remaining parts

    in the gameui.sc2layout file there is all the main information and when it comes to specific ones like itemcontainer sizes then you have to edit the inventorypanel.sc2layout or when you want to get rid of the 3 minimap buttons right of it edit the minimappanel.sc2layout

    then add the edited files to your map in the folder like given in the rar: UI/Layout/UI/...SC2Layout

    with an mpq opener you can open the Starcraft2\Versions\Base17326\patch.SC2Archive file and then extract the UI\Layout\UI\gameUI.SC2Layout That file you can edit and put into your map placing into a folder in import editor being UI/Layout/UI But i still have some problems with it... and i am wodnering that this official "fix" isnt really so official when you still have to use inofficial tools to get access lol

    When the layout file is put in the map it works creating the templates with triggers, but i only get the icons to open the containers to work, when this template is created the images for the contaienrs are only like 10x20 pixel anbd so totally useless....

    When hiding the elements, i am still searching which one is causing the black image on the bottom

    for me <Visible val="false"/> didnt work so i did the <! > which is working but the black image is remaining

    After changing some values slightly i got the inventorypanel at the right position, but using the visible false for other elements doesnt show any effects and when using trigger hide game ui and show inventory panel its still invisible.... so i need to make the main panel invisible/not shown

    Now it doesnt crash anymore, thanks!

    But i still have the problem that i cant get the inventory panel where i want to.

    I want to hide the complete lower panel (minimap, commandcard etc) but i need the inventory panel

    But i could not get it to work. In the older sc2layout file thew position was relative to the commandpanel but in the newest patch somehow it doesnt, but whenever the value is changed, even when i try to create it as a template using creat eimage using template it doesnt show anything.

    posted a message on New Team for Action RPG Mod Group.

    As noone answered so far i would like to name some details.

    The map is supposed to be action RPG like Diablo or Titan Quest
    The interface is nearly finished and the main systems are working already
    It includes skill trees, evolution (like ragnarok online where you level a bit and then you decide for a job and later you can specialize)
    Status points will be given like in Diablo 2
    Max lvl will be 99 and Items are generated RANDOMLY
    using 6 saveslots with a maximum of 6 players.

    I wanted to post a video about the map but i got some problems with the layout file so the interface isnt fully working (no inventory)

    Open Slots are:

    Terrainer – taken by Victiln

    2d Artist – images used for icons or interfaces or world map map

    **3d artist – unit models and weapons **

    Also less specialized but allrounder may also join

    I opened the base.sc2data to get the ui/layout/ui/gameui.sc2layout

    but even when i add this unchanged file to my map it crashes directly after loading

    when i remove the file everything works fine again

    Thank you, but i had the same idea already myself i can already create custom items that way since yesterday after the post

    The next problem is that you cant edit buttons and icons text, so i will need to display the effects of items by triggers instead

    blizzard added so much and still many things are missing lol
