So I'm designing the upgrades, which thankfully are as easy as I thought they would be, even if it is slightly time consuming, and I wanted to know what your thoughts were.
See there it says 750/1500 directly on the icon? That's supposed to be 'charges' but here I'm just using it as a label to let people know the price of things WITHOUT needing to mouse over the upgrade.
Do you think this is good, or leave it with no number, and people have to mouse over to see how much stuff costs?
I may be wrong but you're probably mixing your apples and oranges.
Better to create an upgrade on a building, say the creep tumor, and have that modify what the creep does.
Do you have a plan for the players to know what weapons they have? For example, if you have 9 weapons, all of which act independently from the player, how does the player keep track of what he's bought/equipped. Just have to remember?
Yep, I've played battleships. The random firing is slightly awkward from what I recall, but the idea was definitely cool. Looking forward to this map, I've been working on something similar, but not quite the same.
I'm sure im not the first person to post this, but if you download the new patch while battle.net is still down you won't be able to use the Galaxy Editor, it asks for authentication from battle.net. Booo

The editor should still work, I don't think it requires logging on to bnet.

This all sounds vaguely familiar. I'm curious to see how you designed the weapons to behave the way you say they do.

Sorry to dissapoint you but without any 8 player FFA map, this will be impossible to complete in beta
Edit: My mistake, Extinction can have melee FFA, working on it now

Now I'm vindicated for not using any modified base content in my maps.

QFT.
On my latest map, almost nothing is broken. Working from scratch FTW.

Severely disappointing... =/

Are there improvement for the custom game lobby interface? Because the was the biggest problem with Bnet, other than the silly naming stuff.

Then honestly, I'm perfectly fine to wait till then.
