Kay, so i made an ability command. I set Options : to Function, Return type to Ability Command : All. I made the actions that return the abiliy command, but when i go to use the function as an ability command it doesnt appear.. Does the function evnew ork or am i doing something wrong
that would return a whole different error if it didnt have the buildable abil ^^
e/ i think i narrowed it down to a duplication error. I tried to re-do it by duplicating the unit "Supply Depot" and its respective actor and i had the same problem (no construction actor, the supply depot was created when construction finished)
2e/ i cant figure out what i did wrong... Switching the invalid actor reference from "SupplyDepot2Build" to "SupplyDepotBuild" made the duplicated supply depot work, but the old one still doesnt work with the same fields as the SupplyDepotCopy (except with the unit id instead of SupplyDepotCOpy)
3e/ yay figured it out. When i switched all of the unit names, it deleted the subnames of the actor events so i had to go back and fill them all back in.
Heres a different issue though
Im blending from a custom dark light to basic BelShir light over 10 seconds but the screen overexaggurates a field (idk what its called) and everything gets shiny. Whatd i do wrong? also attached is the custom light
What type of actor did you use? Make sure you are using a Model type. Second make sure the hosting is set right and finally make sure the Unit actor of the unit creates the model when it begins construction.
I'm trying to make my terrain for my map but i have a problem. The general feel for it is rainy and dark, but if i go into the map, its quite bright. Is there a way i can just reduce the overall brightness of the map to make it feel more like nighttime/stormy than daytime

Title. I tried to do it alone twice. First time i got some wierd error (Could not refer to unit scope or something like that) and second time the construction doesnt appear, only the model after construction is done. Can anyone link to a tutorial or help?
What is the "Warcraft 3 ladder"? I know what wc3 is duh but is what you're talking about a mod for sc2 that makes it more micro-based like wc3? Weird.
Laugh.. Warcraft 3 Ladder was the OPPOSITE of micro. WC3 was basically just ordering a huge force to attack. What he means by "too much like warcraft 3 ladder" is that hes saying you'll just send the thing in to wipe it all
Hand-eye coordination is how your hands move in react to what you see (better co-ordination means that your hand will be closer than the point you see)
