Hello! Looking for an experienced map maker who I can chat with. I'm not going to ask you to do anything for me, but having someone resourceful help me out with a few problems would be fantastic. I'm currently attempting to work on a Doomed Earth style map set on another planet.
This looks fantastic. If you need a better tester, or suggestions for monsters etc. I would LOVE to help. Dungeon Keeper 2 was one of my all time favourite games and you have a remarkable system at work here, makes me giddy!
I think i'd enjoy Keeper versus Keeper-Things usually stay more balanced that way.
-Edit- Got it, pardon my laziness... Out of curiosity does this include old models like the soul hunter, or the old broodlord? (The flying purple worm that looked awesome)
I've been thinking about this for some time now and thought i'd just vocalize it and see if anyone is interested.
With the variety of models in game (Alot more then expected, especially Terran) I want to create an empire building map.
Essentially the storyline is sort of like EVE onlines, colonists come through what is understood as a stable wormhole, which then collapses leaving these colonists to fend for themselves.
You would build up an economy, linking your buildings together with roads, building housing structures to increase population, providing business options, as well as leisure for them. Then tax them accordingly. There would be three resources in total, Wealth, Basic Materials, Advanced Materials.
- Wealth generated from civilians, Basic Materials are just mineral fields scattered, and advanced materials being low quantity deposits that spawn periodically around the map. (Making them contested)
The map would be as large as I could muster, with units being scaled down for a more epic feel. Vehicles would be more expensive and realistic, infantry numerable and expendable. Unique tech paths which cancel out other tech paths. Unit trading, hopefully some "political" warfare.
If anyone talented in any sense, whether it be terrain, unit creation, coding (Anyone who finds economy interesting would be greatly appreciated for some triggering) is welcome and encouraged to voice up to join. Looking for help!
Okay so how would I do it just by default? or do I absolutely have to have a trigger run any time a unit is created? Or hm..... I just need a solid answer :(

I'm not sure but I can't seem to find certain models...
Things such as the medic, any mercenary models, the unique protoss heroes.
Was there a field I left unchecked or something? I can't seem to find all the models.
