[Shameless bump]
Yeah I know that this question is quite specific, but at least can anybody tell me what Preview Image - Small is for? Where is it shown?
Heya, I have a problem.
I have created a shiny epic icon for my melee map, which I want to be shown when people click on it while browsing maps on Battle.net. The thing is, when I set "Preview Image - Large" to my icon in SC2 editor, the map preview on my melee loading screen changes as well, though I didn't touch "Preview Image - Small". By the way, I see no changes when I change "Preview Image - Small" - what's the problem?
Is there a global parameter like map ground level, but for sight range? Or maybe is there a way to create a fog which decreases sight range for all units which get inside it?
Would really love to hear answers, thank you.
Well, there are many multiplayer melee maps without any changes to data and units (for example I created 2 - check them out :P ) but yes, currently, officially, they have a stupid AI. But you can download an unofficial launcher tool (SC2ALLIN1 for example), with which you can insert harder AI to melee maps with one click. I won't give a link because that's uhm a sc2mapster site rival) but you can PM me if you didn't find that. Don't worry that's not piracy or viruses or anything ^_^ I used that before I got in beta
I would love a tutorial which shows how to create randomly flying and turning doodads and a tutorial on how to create fog which blocks air units vision
To be honest, watching your TD tutorials was such a pain that I gave up, because I had to stop every 10 seconds and go back because it was impossible to see what did you do and where. Reupload them please.

Rodrigo's one is quite funny and yet SC2 related)

I had the same problem even with melee maps, where rich resources and xel'naga towers disappeared. I had to replace them

What should I do if I want this unit-doodad to fly around the map, being untargettable, unhittable and ignoring all other units?

Is there any way to create a LOS blocker for flying units? A fog would be awesome, which doesn't fully block, but limit the sight of flying units.

just reinstall the game, it should help but make a backup of your maps first! $)
