Screw libraries. Start simple, make a C# flat-file-only webserver. That'll teach you enough about basic 101-level networking in C#.
Google for examples. You'll find some really short and simple ones that you can improve on.
I think this implementation is fatally flawed in that you have to do more work to get the IDs of the inner dialog item's by writing more code than potentially, the XML to create it.
My feedback is that this map is great, but you need to test before you publish. The current published version (and ironically #2 map in NA) is broken and unplayable.
I'll be hosting NA map night tonight! I'll try to get a stream up as well for those who want to watch.
As the main thread, says NA map night will be held today at 9 PM EST (GMT -5) in the channel "sc2mapnight".
He's right. I drive a nice car and I would never consider hopping on a bus. Ever. Just, eww.
I also generally don't watch videos unless they're 720p or greater.
Having said this, this thread belongs in r/firstworldproblems.
Played it again. This time I build an assimilator on one of the AI's geysers. It apparently thought it was under attack and it interrupted mining until the 6 minute mark (all while probe-rushing my assimilator with 3-4 probes), by which time I just rushed with zealots and won.
2nd game versus the AI had some error spam about halfway through. Attached replay.
I'd love to do an interview. Drop me a PM or catch me on IRC. My primary map is Cortex Roleplay, which has floated between page 1 and 3 since release, and I have a few others, not as successful. I'd love to share my thoughts on a lot of stuff.
Vexal raises a good point. Anyone who makes a popular map can find it impossible to get a few minutes of peace and quiet on Battle.net. I often will sign onto EU just to get away from people PMing me.
Not only that, but a lot of people seem to think I'm God's greatest gift to Earth, and while that's flattering, it gets annoying when people treat you like a celebrity. It's hard to sign on and just play your own map for fun with everyone sucking up.

Thanks. I spent last night and this afternoon playing. :) My friend's even getting back into SC2 because of how much she liked Mafia. :)

Great night and a new record, I believe, with map night finally ending at 3 AM EST. :)

Sounds good, we'll find the time to host everyone's maps they've been working on, hopefully.

Nullable types seem like a poor solution for programmers who don't know how their own program flow works.
Is a simple if(x == null) that bad?
