This is great, thanks a lot. I gotta repeat the question though, is there a way to make the doodad fade a bit when units are inside, so you can actually see the stuff inside i.e big-ass garage?
Well it's really easy. You need to open the Data Tab (F7) , select Data Type UNITS and find+select the turret you want to "boost"/modify. Then on the left side there's an object tab with models/actors/weapon/sounds - basically everything that makes up for the turret. Find the effect with (damage) in the name, e.g. Missile Turret - Longbolt Missile (Damage).
* On the right side, double click on the (None) Damage token, it's 12 for the Terran turret. Write whatever you want. For speed/range and so on it's exactly the same, just use the object tab and find your desired value :)
No need to be rude, I checked the triggers beforehand, even after your "instruction" I can't get it to work. Can you explain a bit more in-depth how to do it properly, would be appreciated.

@Nothing5:
Oh well, for that you might need some triggers. I will try to do that tomorrow if someone else doesnt help you by then

@Nothing5:
Elaborate more on what do you consider an upgrade? In-game research or boosting stats in the editor?

@BrotherLaz:
restart your editor/PC
It solved the problem for me.

@lnsidious:
I had the problem aswell and where it happened, I just duplicated the transmission setting it like that:
First transmission - xyz add 0.5 sec wait until done
Second transmission - xyz add 6 sec wait until done
You can of course adjust time as you wish.

@dreazk
*Trigger
**Event
**Variables
**Conditions
**Actions - Visiblility -Reveal Area should work no? Give it to every player or play with a revealer.

You'd propably need to make a new research in data tab and just copy behaviour/effect/ability from detector unit. Have you at least try that?

Use the data tables or global variables for objectives, like here :
First create an objective trigger with all your objectives, save each in global data table
then just call em from the global data table

Hey there.
I have an objective that requires to kill 9 turrets and I'd like to make a window fo that keeps a track of the progress.
For example, when the objective is active and just started there's : "9 Turrets left" or "9 turrets alive".
When a player kills one, it's "8 turrets left" etc. When the player kills the last turret, it either disappears or says that all have been destroyed.
I can't figure out how to even start this, propably takes some variables too. Any help MUCH appreciated!
