Creating an ability Effect - Instant. Trying to create a missile to fire at an offest point. But, the missile is created at the units feet and stays there.
Doesn't matter what effect I use augment ability is not applying the desired effect, not triggering the spell. I do have it set to ability _Global - Hero Attack as Attack.

While I was making this
back in the first week of beta... I found a trigger can't remember what it was off the top of my head but, basically make a search on area effect from your character via buff trigger. disable terrain/doodads outside of the trigger area. It helped a ton with performance and allows you to make super size maps beyond the bounds. You can create maps infinite in size, if you recreate the area. I don't really remember how I did it, but it helped. Only thing is places with long vision get cutt off, but, I guess thats the price you gotta pay.
I wish I still had the map... but working on something else now, something stupid dunno why I am doing it.
Also,
Female main characters in Shooter games don't really work unless its a gimmick like metriod., otherwise it just appeals to anime nerds.
Ok, so, I've been optimizing my triggers, and I see this...
It seems to run the trigger everytime a unit attacks within the region. I can't figure this out and its a huge waste on resources. I just want it to do the trigger once per unit that enters it.

You can use SOs and actors to get it anywhere you want.

Does it optimize abilities? Or, what I don't get it. Seems just like an extra path, another route taking up unnecessary bits, not that it means much.

ER nvm.... after looking at my own picture I noticed I didn't have the correct effect lolz. Pulling my hair out for hours over something stupid.

Hmm are you certain? I just tested on a zergling, marine and zealot and same result as stand.

In actors for a unit, Animation - Baselines - Animation Properties (Stand|Walk)
I want the baseline animation to not animate at all for Stand. Anyone know how to make this happen?

I can't create animation names. When I click customize, type in a new name, it shows up blank with no value {}. Am I missing something here?

Right, its probably something I can't really change since its going to call all units anyway. Failed call or not.
Early failed does run less overall though since its not calling the rest of the triggers.

If you can do it to ambiance, there has to be a way to do it to any sound.
