    But I am having some trouble. Using your tutorial I was able to get it to alter the texture of a Hydralisk just like you did, but applying the same method to the Xel Naga Obelisk didn't yield any change. Do you think it might have something to do with the model variations of the Obelisk? It's the only thing I can think of.

    No this one is tricky because the path of the dds files are differen.

    Simply put this in substring or prefix, doesn't matter which one. XelNagaObeliskDiffuse.dds and it will work. You can even leave both it blank if you want, just make sure you have slot = main. You may want to do other things than diffuse for this model.

    Does not work. Default textures override the new textures.

    I really would like to know how to do this. But, I don't think its possible without uploading a new model.

    Screw that, Onetwo. Old system is many times over better than the system now. Theorizing and tinkering with ideas just leads to more disappointment. I personally am tired of Blizzard, stringing people along like a new hope and be below expectations almost every-time.

    Also, Blizz really should stop worrying about peoples behavior and start worrying about making a game that breaks average. Cata and SC2 pretty much define how gaming is going for Blizz. Underachievers, lazy, communist left tree huggin liberalists, and horrible with nurturing the community.

    Blizzard should be sent to war for a couple months, it would sharpen them and the weak would die.

    Well that makes no sense, since the game reads the bank not the players. IE if I run a trigger. X player types XXX... show UI text message "kill" in "stats" from bank[player X].

    You can pull any value you want.From any bank from any player.

    Maybe its something for really large banks. Where the data is so much that it causes loading problems.

    Its definitely legit because the guy who leaked it on accident is apart of the studio who does the Blizz cut scenes. He just forgot to set the video to private and a shit storm happened.

    All I can say feedback wise is. Gorge lucas 2.0. When you have a franchise like Star Wars/StarCraft it seems impossible to screw up. They do it. chris metzen is a has been and should be fired.

    I keep seeing this on the forums. I run a trigger that picks all players on team one and opens bank etc without it and I still save the values. People say I need this for Bnet? Apparently I dont.

    What does it do?
    I think it merges all banks open with that player.

    posted a message on Item doing wierd things on death. Items removed.

    I have an actor, that shows up when a hero gains a level.

    I also have a problem where all items are just disappearing completely on death.

    I set that when an item dies its moved to base. Now, when I do that the level up actor appears where the item would go. But, no item.

    I am trying to make it so items are not being lost on death, but, I think its impossible when the items keep being removed.

    If I could get them to drop somehow...

    Even did a direct kill unit trigger, and its still not dropping them so its not an AoE.

    I published my map today, been working on it since September 1st.

    Player #'s don't equal Lobby positions?.........................

    I am raging so hard right now, with my fucking>>>>>> I MEAN FUCKING 3,500 LINES OF CODE.

    And I am suppose to fucking change it all?

    Now maybe thats not alot to some of you. But, never scripted anything before this map, and never made a WC3 map before. So, this is all new to me.

    This is so disheartening, I don't know what to do.
