Few years ago i was playing only custom games, because quick matches were too hard for me, but I finally realized that it's not so hard if you keep on practicing. Lost time? You loose no time. The game is really boosting computer management skills.
The key feature would be making a unlimited number of layers. You would get a list of layers with tabs that can toogle is layer visible on map. For each layer you can set the unit group. For example:
Land pathing - unit group: all land units.
Build pathing - unit group: all building.
Air pathing - unit group: all flying.
Water pathing - unit group: groupwater1 or Fregate, Raft, Battleship or anything you would like.
You got a value/time tabs on the bottom of the editor or you can use the right mouse button to edit the keys with boxes. I think that most of the people doesn't know .
I think that if coding is like 512 bit xor then the game can be decoded only with NSA resource. I bet the first folder in mpq is Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty so if somebody convert it to ASCII then he can get the code.

You are loosing a lot of fun with not playing campaign. After the end i needed some time to put my self from pieces.

I think that assets should be outside the crate folder and model should be outside of assets.
Assets/Textures/texture or from your internal path
Models/Crate/model
Make shure you use internal path.
