SC2 Frenzy needs a voice actor to help with the creation of our in-game tutorial as well as to give players in game audio cues to help them get a better understanding of the gameplay more quickly.
The complexity and uniqueness of SC2 Frenzy oftentimes confuses new players, I want to make the learning process as smooth as possible, and the only way i can do that is by teaching players as they go with audio cues.
Im looking for a voice actor who can produce quality sound clips in a non-intrusive voice, what would be perfect is either the Executor voice that tells protoss player's to build more pylons or a Terran Adjutant.
Some sample sounds that i will be needing...
"We cannot allow our enemies to maintain control of this position"
"Your base is being captured!"
"You have idle troops awaiting your command"

We are attempting to accomplish this with in-depth heros, small team sizes, control node based play and player controlled minions. We are experimenting with different game mechanics in order to create the best game possible.
We currently hold a closed beta test every Wednesday night at 9:30 PM Central time and are looking for additional members to join us. We are not looking for people to simply play test the game, we need players passionate about game design who are willing to give feedback and suggestions on how to make the game better. We are looking for players willing to play the game at least 2 times per month and give their feedback and suggestions on what needs to be changed.
Players who participate in the test will receive credit in game, as well as an in-game title and leader board portrait.

Creep is created by not only where the hero walks, but also by certain abilities in differant patterns...
Basically i want there to be a wave of damage that is bound to the creep, and it must be like a chain reaction that is bound on the creep starting from the hero, and moving outwards, that way if the creep bound "Path" to a unit from the hero to the unit was longer, the unit would have more time to step off the creep...
Maybe it would help if i explained some of the heros abilities
1-similar to psistorm - just deals damage and generates creep at the target area
2-Deals damage in a line, and also creates a path of creep along that line
So the hero could potentially create a patch of creep with ability 1 on a unit, then connect that patch of creep with the path of creep on the hero's feet using ability 2, so that it could use this "Wave" ability to shoot a shockwave of damage through the creep... i suppose i could just do what photoloss initially proposed, if i could make sure that the creep in the area was joined at some point...
hope that clears up exactly what i wanted it to have happin...

well i def dont want to do a simple outward expanding search effect,..
I have given it some more thought and i came up with a way to do it in triggers, although i would have to put a cap on the max distance the wave can travel, basically i would lay down a full filled in circle of dummy units, (points) and then remove the ones not on creep, and detonate the "center" one and that would detonate the surrrounding ones, etc... depending on the max radius of the ability this could get extremely inefficient though...
DrSuperEvil, could you expand on what you were suggesting?

I have an ability that shoots a missile in the target direction. Has a working Visual Quad actor set up.

Basically im about to make an ability that shoots 3 skillshots, 1 in the target direction, and 2 more at + and - 45 Degrees from the center skillshot.
How could I set up an actor that will accurately do this?
To clarify, I basically want to make a pre-targeting skillshot splat that is offset by a certain angle from the mouse direction.

I find music distracting while im editing somthing that takes concentration...
If im just doing basic copy paste data stuff that doesnt require much focus, i will sometimes watch netflix tho

I started editing Warcraft III when i was 10 but all i programmed there was utter garbage XD
I started Starcraft II during the beta when i was 16, and it took off for me as my favorite thing too do...
I am now in college getting my degree in computer science so i can do this thing for a living :D
