    hiho,

    today i wanted to publish my first map finally to the community. (not private but public) but now i always get an error regardless of weather i want to publish it locked, unlocked, private or public i always get the error message that there isn't enough space left on my account - but on the screen you can see, that i have got NO maps uploaded atm because i remove all maps when i have got a new version ...

    please help!

    hiho,

    thank you for your answer but it didn't really help me in any way. in the end of the tutorial the guy says, that exactly the attack launch attachment query isn't in the scope of this tutorial and voila. and im still stuck at my real problem - the fatal error.

    whenever a target is attacked more than one time at the same time it nearly always crashes. sometimes i can prevent the crash by killing single units before i make a masacre. xD

    there is even a very nice button in bnet to report maps which are for example STOLEN. =)

    just want to say here that the native PlayerProperty() does not work correctly if you want to change the player's suply maximum. that sucks and i had to deactivate some options for my game because of that.

    i think there are much more buggy natives or other functions in the editor and of course in gui. for example the UnitRevive() is still missing in gui ...

    hiho,

    i have got a huge fatal error problem with my map. when my custom hydralisk attacks (it has got only a ranged attack which i made like the needle spines one) an enemy unit or structure the game crashes with a very high chance. the more attacks or unit with that attack the earlier does the crash happen. that makes my map extremely unplayable ... :-(

    can anybody help me? are there known issues with projectile weapons?

    my projectile atm moves like that one of the normal hydralisk but it slides on the ground. xD (im too nooby to figure out how i can attack it to the normal position)

    Edit: i found out, that the fatal error problem just happens when the custom hydralisk attacks a unit controled by another player. atm those other players are computers.

    hiho,

    i also made an LTW in wc3. (line tower wars - evolution) it also has got an anti-block system and the funny thing is, that it works nearly the same as yours. (perhaps this is the only way to do it)

    what i would like to see in your map is that you make MANY game modes and functions to change the gameplay as you want. that is something i did in my ltw - but with the new cool dialogs in sc2 you can make it MUCH better! ;-)

    im asking again because of the auto unit train problem for my map. here the first thread: http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/map-development/2811-auto-unit-train/#p19

    my current problem is that i didn't save all my sc2 maps which i created during the beta and which got lost as i removed the sc2 beta from my pc to be able to install the real game. -.- well, with special programs i finally got one of my maps back - but just a 3 months old one ... in this version the unit auto train is not done and i again have the problem.

    i did it like the last time, but however it does not work. when i now click on the autocast-button the unit is trained correctly, but not when i activate autocast - nothing happens...

    how i did it last time: created an effect - issue order (linked to my train ability for the unit), created an ability linked to that effect with autocast. added the ability to the unit - voila.

    can anybody help me?

    didn't read all the stuff which others already wrote but i have got MANY ideas!

    something i already missed in the wc3 editor was a feature to be able to organise the object (or data) - editor. in my mind it would be just an option to create your own folders instead of just having the standart ones ... in wc3 for example i would have made folders like Heroes, Towers (for TD's) and Dummyunits etc. =)

    then an option to make galaxy triggers and functions etc. like we were able to do that in wc3. in my opinion this is a really huge step back from the good old wc3!

    bigger banks for multiplayer. when i tested them first in singleplayer i already was confused why it was soo easy to delete or to change them. so i figured out that you again need to encrypt your codes which is more or less work, work, work. but the worst thing with banks is, that they are nearly useless in multiplayer - i instantly stopped my big RPG map when i found out that they are extremely limited in multiplayer! blizzard won't see any RPG map by me until they changed the limits to something which is about 10 times bigger. xD (im serious)

    many functions are still not working. during the beta i always said - yeah man it is just a beta. but now i hoped that blizzard added them until release - well no ...

    and during the beta i could not publish any locked map for public, but i don't know if that bug still exists.

    your structure which has got the train ability must have links to the buttons you want to show in the button menu in the data editor. otherwise you get blue or other buttons...

    thanks, but the thing is that it works perfectly until i auto-tain more than one different unit at the same time. always just one of the chosen units is trained instead of all at the same time even if the training time is set to 0 seconds ...

    hiho,

    for the default unit values you could use the catalog functions as a basis. and for the upgrades you could also use catalog values times the stage of the upgrade of a player. but im not sure if this really works ... :-/

    im also missing some smart unit stats functions such as ...

    armor sight range and other values and for the weapons it would be also extremely useful to have functions which return the current attack damage, effect and attackspeed of a units weapon.

    im creating a new map since a few days and im done with the terrain and the most of the triggers and it works fine. but now i wanted to create the objekts for the map with the data editor. in my map there is a zerg queen which can lay eggs instead of the hatchery.

    lay egg is a spell which needs mana and i want it to be better than i actually did it. what it does atm: i click on the spell button and an egg appears which breaks after about 5 seconds and creates a zerglich. however there are bugs and MANY things which i want to improve - but i just don't know HOW to improve it - failed so many times and now i ask you. =)

    the first thing is: when my queen casts the ability she shell play an animation like the one when the queen creates a creep tumor. xD the egg should not appear somewhere arround her but behind her. atm there is no duration bar for the egg which shows how much time is left until the egg will break - the blue bar, you know what i mean.^^ when the egg breaks there is a bug that the collission of the egg is still activ and i can't move out if i layed many eggs with my queen which spawned arround me... finally when the unit is created i want not only to kill the egg - which btw does not play any animation - but i also want a nice looking special effect. nothing big, but just some effects would be great ...

    well im completely lost with this - no more ideas how to do this ... i hope you can help me. =)
