Great job, thanks, but at least the default one (green/black) has very iffy (round) tip over light background. Over dark bg the tip looks nice and sharp tho. would it be possible to do something about it?
This map is very interesting. It has tight closed spaces, which realy favors Terrans with their Siege tanks, but on the other hand both main and natural have backdoor which is kind of thing that puts Terran into huge disadvantage. Nice little balance there:)
Actually I think this is more of what would americans do, but w/e
@OP:
The pic is truly amazing, I realy love it. Do you have a HD 1920*1080 version? I'd love it for my new desktop wallpaper:)
Also I don't see how it is religiously offensive, it's apparently a good guy and bad guy wrestling.
If someone interprets it as God and Devil, it's their call. Anyone actualy impersonating deities into plain bodies is just clueless twat anyway. Too bad they have those in Blizzard HQ...
On Earth, with 100+ different religions prety much ANYTHING could me marked in such manner. I mean, you can't have for example cows in maps, because cow is sacred for Buddhists. Basicaly if they don't like you, they can ban you for this and say it's abusing some obscure religion from middle of nowhere. Utter BS.
Remember, the casual gamer thinks most popular = best. (Which is why the sheeple keep buying Blizzard products!)
Sadly enough, Blizzard products are the best, or, at least, the most entertaining games around. I played CnC4, quit after first mission. I installed sc2, and managed to spend frikking 90 mins playing just the Viking minigame.
This popularity system is p* me off. I just hope my map Debates get some people.
As much as I appreciate the time you invested in this map, do you honestly believe that such kind of game is something people want to play just few days after SC2 release?
I for one see this kind of maps more as proof of concept rather than something viable for long-term playing. I mean, why on earth would I want to play discussion game using a 10GB client?
What's even more remarkable is the engine. The Hyperion lobby has graphic a FPS game wouldn't be ashamed of and the very same engine is able to render huge battles easily.

And they indeed seem way way too big.

FYI the infested ground is called creep (might help you searching it;))
However, considering how creep works and looks ingame it might as well be that it's not textured and instead just colored model
