If so.
Disbanding this map as being "worse" one is bad idea.
My suggestion is. Ask other guy so you guyz can work together if possible.
Or just continue working and try to differ in few things. So we dont get same maps, or competition between those two.
Also, any map can lead to something different and better trough experience you gather.
I also agree with Fuzzy. Dont defend yourself, try to find logic and try to twist few things so people get confused and maybe they can get different taste of your product.
Anyway, ignore all rude replys since you arent doing this for money, but for mapping experience and fun.
Oh, y and also. I think most of the people here are indie, instead they should be making groups with similar ideas.
Ok. I will try few tests tonight if I will catch a time. If I will still get errors I will send you model and spec map ok ? Then you can make and example (partial texture) so I can see the difference...
Look at that 1st picture I attached. Zoom at model on the right. Notice shadow lines are like tearing apart. They are not smooth.
Those models dont sound so hard to do. The problem is that we dont have proper exporter or what is more important, any kind of documentation about SC2 models.
I hope Blizzard will release them soon... in like 5 months xD.
And y, it takes a lot more than days to learn, takes forever to master.
Hopefully someone will find some time to help you. At this point there is no point of making custom models for SC2. Not for big projects tho.
I personally think that this project is at great risk since horror atmosphere and SC2 TPS, huh, hard to pull off.
GOOD LUCK ! Looks promising so far. Plot that usually never disappoints is the revealing one. Where you play and reveal all disaster that is going on going towards really dark vibe, maybe hell like doom games.
Dick rocket launcher, haha. Looks ok but only if there will be PvP and lots of features when it comes to battling and collecting.
Some basic customization would be appreciated also.
One has normal map, and other has normal and specular map.
All maps work fine, except when I add specular map I get those shading problems. I used PS and CrazyBump to create specular map. Tried different type. Anyone solved this problem ? Or its caused by lack of features that exporting tool is offering us ?

Emm... atmosphere, tension, sounds, music is really important factor in horror games...
About voice acting. Acting must be drown into the game, so you feel like its reality. That is really hard to pull off.

Its shaping really good. I hope SC2 low poly wont be getting into a way. This would rock on UDK.
