As TheHolyArk mentioned, they're Banshee Wings, taken from the Banshee model, couldn't for the world find the pack on this page (where I got it originally) but luckily I had them in an old map that I never finished.
Some really nice contributions this time, I'll try to do something before this is over if I get some spare time.
One thing that I've noticed a lot of people doing though, and that annoys me when I make maps, scale down the Trash Cans, the regular ones in the editor are like twice as large as humans, looks kinda weird :(
Here we go, I tried to build a Mar Sara based underground Zergling Race track but that didn't work, so threw this together instead, figured I should contribute with something since I came up with the idea :)
Didn't work out perfectly, but I'm quite happy with it anyway, basically, what I had in mind was a system of guarded waypoints for interplanetary (or intergalactic or whatever) travel, not sure if calling it a track is completely correct but either way, this is one of the stations. Had one hell of a time trying to get the Neon Lines to render properly over such long distances but I think it worked out in the end :)
I was considering to do something like that, just a bit worried that too many of the textures may come from the same tileset when all numbers are so low, making the challenge a bit boring :p
I like your idea, but I feel you could've done better, mainly with more overgrowth (and the 'Vines' doodad). Overall, it's definitely cool
You're definitely right, wasn't sure how much time I'd be able to put into the map so digured I may as well submit it. As for the lack of Vines, it's been a long time since I worked on outdoor environments and I had a much harder time finding the proper doodads that I wanted for the vegetation, I must admit that I didn't find the vines when I went through the editor.
If I have the time I may go back and work some more on it.
Been interesting to follow the discussion here since my contribution for this week's exercise was bit closer to what you've been speaking about, the change in my picture is not directly due to the disaster, rather it's about the wild reclaiming what was once its own.
Here we go, haven't contributed to these for a long time but I got a new computer now, which means I can actually work on maps while watching movies at the same time, which increased my productivity a lot :)
A bit different, I know I didn't use the actual Tileset a lot, or terrain in general for that matter. It's a small space station under attack by Terran forces.
Haven't looked into this myself, however it should be possible to give the Infestor a behavoir which spawns an invisible unit that does damage (or applies DoT) to everyone around it. Spawn this unit on / just behind the infestor every couple of seconds, and have it live for just a few seconds as well.
Somewhere in an underground dominion facility, we find out what happens to all those corpses that seem to magically dissolve into the ground when you play a game of SC II :)
Would be about a racing event of some sort, could be a simple track for Cars, Runners, Aircrafts Zerglings or something completely different, or something more along an obstacle course.
Possibly, an obstacle course for military recruits (of either race) could be another week's WTE (or mix them both into one, I'm sure someone with English as their native language could think of a proper subject name to include them both).
Haven't checked in the editor, but there are roads, not to mention a lot of vehicles and creatures.
You can always check out the mini diablo model, not sure how cute it is, but the model in WoW (which I guess it's originally based on) is kinda cute looking.
Edit: Also, if you don't mind importing models, check out the thread with imported WoW Models, should have a lot of animals, murlocs, druid forms and other stuff which could be concidered cute.

Here we go, something I threw together during the evening today.
Also, is there no way to remove the weird looking green editor model thingies of Terrain Objects?

Have wanted to join in with one of these for quite some time but haven't been able to make something up before the deadline.
Some nice stuff this week, figured I should join in, spent a couple of hours on this artificial "floating island"...

I'll see how much time I have during the weekend.

Here's an idea I just got:
At the racing tracks

Once again, I've got an idea, just hoping I'll have enough time to make a contribution out of it.

If you're thinking of the same one as I am, it's called "Garage", possibly "Garage, Large"
