I was looking to do this in one of my maps and posted on it (HERE) but got no replys. Thanks for the info here, anyway. I'll try it out when I get a chance.
I wanted to make a melee style map with 2v2. But how do you set up teams so if 2 players join in, they are on opposite teams but if 4 join, it puts 2 against the other 2?
So, basically, do I have to to anything with Players/Alliances/teams, etc to get a 2v2 map working? Or do the players do this when starting the Custom Game?
Could some one please explain what all the various types of licenses are for posting maps? Or more specifically, which ones are better for particular types of maps?
I am planing on doing some Melee maps [1v1 and 2v2] and probably some RPG/Hero maps and maybe a Tower Defense style game. What would be the best license type for them? What do I need to implement those licenses in my maps/files?
I never produced maps in the Warcraft 3 Editor so a lot of the SC2 Map creation process is new to me.
