I found this importer acting strangely when I imported the boneguard model after trying to fix it, it seemed to have actually come with the particles
.
This seemed to be accidental, but does show that importing particles isn't that far off.
The best way for this that I've found is using the Set effect. There should be a field called "Chance" or "(none) Chance". This would allow you to specify the chances of the set effect actually occurring accurately.
Edit (Response to the below post): Ah, I didn't notice every effect had one now, but they do work since I tested it before posting.
Yes, I've saved the map, There is no model as it is just an icon, therefore only a texture and button is required. The button is a texture for an item and weapon, and is linked to the imported icon.
EDIT
Resolved: The icons seem to have shown up properly when the I opened the editor again.
I am attempting to import and use custom icons in my map, and the icons show up perfectly in the editor.
However, when I tried to use it in the game, a white box is shown instead of the icon.
The icon was created using Gimp, compressed using BC3 / DXT5.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

The tutorial found here might be helpful for allowing the weapon to move.
