Hey there, I find your concept cool, but the head seems out of place in the zerg design, and make it looks like too much like a dog.
I'd suggest a longer head with smaller mouth, more insect than mamal-like.
Hey, I'd like to remove this button. I know we can remove the Menu, Help and Achievements pannel, but there is no "message log" in presets to choose from. Maybe it goes under a different name, but I really can't find it.
Hmm I had a serious bug with PvP. In fact, when we finished the solo objectives, we were only 2 left.
When we chose Tug of war mode, everything went crazy : we were in opposite team, but both units spawned at the same lane (bottom).
So it was kind of a mess and while my units spawned next to the other player nexus, the other player's units were ordered to attack my nexus.
Apart from that, my comments would be that we have very few choices to make in the game. The hero in the battlefield thing is nice, but we should definitively be able to choose from many heroes, and be able to see them better in the battlefield.
Why have two types of ressources at all if you can convert it freely ? I didn't get that choice of using both minerals and gas.
The texture you use for most of the center of the map should not be used in that way ! Note that the pattern of the texture repeats itself 10 times. You should use a simpler terrain and mix it with another...
i have a dilemma, plz dont steal idea, but i am making a map where you can morph any two units. I need 4-6 unit types (Ex:Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, Metal[im not using this because it just seems weird]) that will combine to make more. They can be of any theme, like alchemy or science, and it would be nice if you suggested models to be used with each of them.
What you could do is to use a single unit, like zealot or Preserver, and use differents tints, glows and effects to imply the elements. Fire can be done pretty easy (like the hydralisk in that SOTIS map), the hardest would be maybe water.
Are you creating them on the "map initialized" event? if so that would more then likely be your problem
Does 1.2 modify anything about initialization creations ?
Because the oddest thing is that it's random. I change the label, the portrait dont work. I change it back, portrait works. I change it again, the portrait works. Strange.

You should definitivly look at the missile of Ravens. They do time-out (with specific animation) when nothing is reached for X seconds.

To respond the original thread question, I have problems with Cinematic portraits and Dialog labels. Odd
