    This is some terrain I did when I first began using the editor. Eventually I abandoned the map idea, but I'm hoping someone can make use of the terrain at least. No credit is necessary. I'll attach a screen shot so you have a basic idea. I wouldn't mind hearing some feedback on it either : ).

    Decided I want to solo this to the end.

    Warpath Tower Defense

    • 1v1 / 2v2 Tower Wars style Tower defense
    • Wintermaul Style Creep Spawning
    • Mazing
    • Creeps fight each other
    Progress:
    • Terrain: 100%
    • Triggers: 95%
    • Data: 5%
    Data Editor Expectations:
    • Able to create Auras, Weapons, Upgrades, & Units (in a reasonable amount of time)
    • Active (stay within 3 day contact)
    • Suggestions & Balance
    • Example of Work (Something to show you can meet the expectations would be very nice)

    Its not going to be anything too hard, but I will be helping with as much as I can.

    Data editor will of course receive full credit.

    Try using end game in a trigger with a different event. It could be that blizz made it where you can't insta defeat someone on map start? (To prevent stupid maps)

    1. There are actually a couple of decent Tower War style TD's.

    • Line Tower Wars (I don't really like the style, but its still good)
    • Mercy TD (Very good IMO, one of the few maps I would log into SC specifically to play)
    • There are more, but those are the only two that I can remember.

    2. I'll be like everyone else in this thread (besides Karawasa) and mention my map haha. I'm currently making a 2v2 TD, 9 creeps to choose from, Mazing, and creeps fight each other.

    3. I think you should go for it. Some Ideas:

    • Players interfering with each other aside from sending creeps.
    • When you kill an opponents creep it spawns a creep for the opposing team / player.
    • Rewards for finishing a wave before your opponent.
    • Good terrain (ex. Elemental TD . . . too many maps disregard aesthetics)

    It sounds very interesting, But random meteor locations + only 1 teleport for towers per impact event is a very bad idea IMO. Teleport either needs a short cd (5s) or 3-5 charges (maybe more depending on how many meteors fall during the event). Otherwise players will skillfully teleport away from 1 meteor, not have a teleport left for that tower, and have it destroyed by the next meteor because of random spawning.

    It might add some spice if a meteor fell during waves too, it would add completely new ways of tower mazing.. Like instead of a 1x5 wall you might do a 3x5 wall to prevent leaking when you have to teleport. Just imagining it, i can think of quite a few ways to maze that would be really cool for this.

    If you want any help with it, I'd love to get in on it. I like terraining and love triggering. Not too good with data, but have no problem doing the grunt work.

    Zelda, I agree for the most part... Its just that no one puts spin on the concept, thus almost all TD's are just mass produced dribble. But by adding in this meteor idea, its adding more action to a strategy based game. Don't be so bias towards them though.

    Karawasa, I've only heard that expression said as "When you assume, It makes an 'ass' out of both 'u' and 'me' ".

    I want to implement this formula into my map.

    • Output = (Input*Cap) / (Input+Cap)
    • %Damage Reduction = (X*100) / (X+100)
    • X = Something I can use upgrades to increase for individual units

    The problem is, I'm not sure what to use for this to work.

    When trying to upload my map I get the message "Not Enough Space on Account", but i have nothing uploaded. (I checked and would've remembered if I did).

    Just curious if anyone knows how to solve this.

    posted a message on The Ironman Trials (Help Needed)

    This will be a Diablo 2 style map, where 6 players race to kill Andariel or eliminate the other players.

    I'm currently working on the terrain, and have got the base layout for the map. The Ironman Trials

    Positions Needed: Data Editor - Will be working on abilities and units mostly.
