I agree with most of the opinions here that this TD has a GREAT idea behind it. it someow remembers me of the gem td from warcraft 3, which has made it's way to many browser-ased clones. The system of combining those different elemental types and building barriers is realy nice.

    BUT

i have a massive prolem in solving the first 10 rounds or so, because every time i try to build a good maze and i want to set the elemental blocks (or towers) to complete a path, the game won't let me because it says that i would prevent enemies from finding a way through it. those "path-finding-markers" just block the building process even if there's another (more tricky) way for the creeps to go. so did u actually want this to happen, e.g. for mazes not to get too strong because of complexity, or is this just a bug? anyways, for me it's kind of annoying and i would say that if i was allowed to build a maze just how i want to, this would be my favourite fun map. by far. actually, i don't even need the markers because it's obvious where the creeps go.

->i apologize for typing mistakes, my keyboard is crap....

I think your not using a two space width or something because I have mazed my whole square before with relative ease. I find that they allow a one entry system really does make this game A LOT easier though. I think it would be cool to see something incorporated in which the maze had both an entrance and a exit. I say this because I stacked Fire Towers at the start and used them for AOE for the first two or so levels. After that I began branching out and focusing on traps mainly (one's within the maze floor) the TD became very easy.

I must ask though if you need any Beta Testers I would love to help out. I find this map simply amazing and it has brought to me what I had hoped Starcraft 2 Td's should be. Thanks for an Amazing map!

Yeah; After playing both your TDs quiet a bit I must say that there is a TON of differences between the two. Once you play the TD and actually see the fundamentals behind his you will understand what I mean. It seems like its what would happen if Element TD and Artifact TD had a baby. Grats to two great Authors! Thank you both for your amazing maps and looking forward to seeing yours Karawasa

First off can I say that this was an amazing map to play and I must agree with the reviewer. I played this map when it was first noticed by Sc2mapster a while back (cant remember when) and really enjoyed it. The only problems we found was when we played with 4 or more people it would randomly crash and disconnect our players =/... I hope this issue has been fixed even though it wasn't stated in the change-log.

where can i get an offline version of this ?

On another side note and the main reason for my post here is the quote from above. I think as a whole we need to stop publishing your quality work on the actual site. It promotes people using 3rd party Sc2 clients (torrented, downloaded, etc) to play the custom maps and enjoy features of the game that should be left to the online community. It is because of people like this that we have Blizzard clamping down so hard.. I want the stand alone SDK to be released ='(.

posted a message on Nexus Word Wars was banned

    Hey; Just one final comment.

On the Blizzard Website is the Code of Conduct. It has pretty much every section for rules and the action that will follow while on the forums. It states:

    Sexual Preference

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

    • Insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual preference pertaining to themselves or other players

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:

    • Be temporarily banned from the forums
    • Be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in a permanent ban from the forums

In this section you clearly can see where using the term dyke in a derogatory sense would lead you on the forums. So if you receive a temp ban first for first time offenders.. can they not do the same with there map system? It just seems that it was a little harsh even if they were covering there ass to ban his map epically seeing how in banning his map is unable to upload any new ones.

Well still on this point and sorry to not staying on topic from the response listed above but inside Starcraft 2 multiplayer options can you not select Battle-net and then un-check enable Mature Language Filter? If this is such a problem should they not have a command directly linked to the editor for this specific reason. If these issues arise should Custom Maps not only get a rating for content but also a parental restriction or something. If Blizzard worked with the map making community a common compromise other then removing the word or a strict banning could have been resolved. Like if this game is a Teen rating shouldn't only teens up be playing set game?

If maps like these are getting banned what are the chances for ANY of the good maps to be re-released again? Escape Weed World, Naked Britney Bound, etc. If you look at

    Sc2 Teen

    • Online Interactions not Rated by the ESRB, just policed by Blizzard for a "E"veryone Rating.*

It states plain as day TEEN rating. Under this heading one of the sections listed is Language as well as Suggestive Themes. Does this not mean that a map maker should have to adhere to the same rating? If Language is listed and a "offensive" word is use which loosely put as it is, It would still pass the games rating and should not have been an issue.

This is just Blizzard again being Blizzard. Starcraft 2 should have been so much more then it was and even though Blizzard states the community comes first and there trying to work with us then how do issues like this even arise.
