I still plea for assistance, anyone from the NA, who could publish my map for me?
EU cannot publish and the beta is almost over, I must check my map's multiplayer elements before end of beta.
If anyone could help me, I will be in debt. I'll just PM you the map, and you will just need to publish it for me, and tell me of any issues that seem to happen during gameplay.
At first the ability had no effect, so i added one, and make the effect do nothing, didn't work.
Only way to prevent the crash is to remove the dummy empty ability from the unit.
I've been trying to figure this out, but it never worked like it should.
I want to create an empty button on the command card of a unit, the button will be to my desire, I can place it normally using the command card data of the unit, but I want the button to do absolutely nothing.
Only thing it should do is be able to be pressed, but pressing it would do nothing. That way I can make a trigger work with the event "Button is pressed" following by my personal actions, while the data remains quite.
Wait help me out here

Variables are just what they are when you program something, or even do a simple math problem (2+X=6 | X=4)
Variables are data stored as a name.
An example of a trigger:
Action - Create 1 Marine at location of barracks for player 1.
Action - Set Unit_Marine = last created unit.
Action - Remove Unit_Marine from the game
What happened there?
I created a marine with a trigger, simple right?
now I created a variable type unit named Unit_Marine, and I used an action to store the variable as that specific unit i created.
Then i removed the unit, instead of removing the last created unit, i simply removed the unit in the variable, which in this case is the exact same unit.
Say you want that unit removed far later in the game, but you have no way to refer to it, with a variable you can.
Variables dont just store units, they can store numbers, sounds, and much more.
The only way I see to advertise your map now is in out of game forums, and then people only find your map with search in the custom game list, and by the time they read your advertise from a distant forum, and then go with their life, it takes enough time for them to forget the name of the map, or the advertise itself, or even that they wanted to check it out, by the time they get back into the game.
I'd test it online for you if i was in the US, think of our problems here, not only is the community here in EU smaller, but we CANT even publish :D hehehe...
thats not funny...
I despise this new publishing system, and I really hope that the new Starcraft 2 community which will join in the 27th, will make Blizzard change it.

I just took your video and pimped it, didn't play your map :).
Do you want me to upload it to youtube? or is there a way I can send it to you or vjeux quickly so you could do it?

Still does me the same thing it always does: i test document, and when the bar on loading screen is at around 80% it crashes.

You can download the fansite kit here. It has tons of avatars, some sounds, a FAQ and more.
