The team color is done by using the alpha channels in diffuse and emmissive layers.
As for the picture you rendered there, NiN, it looks like you've got the normals wrong as the model got those seams?
So the IREF matrix shouldn't be applied to the bone itself, but to the vertices it's attached to? And any idea what IREF stands for? I suppose it's "initial ..." something?
