    [Map] 1v1 or 4 Player FFA 2v2 is enabled but is not recommended Umath Oasis Released on US Battle.net version 1.0

    • Map Size 216x208
    • Number of Players 2-4
    • Main with expo situated behind the main on a raised cliff, One Natural Exp, 1 Regular Exp, 1 Protected Exp, and a Gold Exp
    • Features 4 Xel'Naga Watch Towers Situated at the North, South, East, and West atop cliffs
    • Destructible Rocks Block Easy Paths to Expansions and Xel'Naga Watch Towers
    • Cliff Walking or some kind of air drop is needed to reach 2 of the Xel'Naga Towers

    So this is my second Melee Map going to release and I am looking for feedback from the community on how to make it play better for 1v1 or FFA (not concerned with 2v2 to be honest). I decided to look through all the blizzard maps, and some of the maps on the current ICCUP map rotation and this is what I ended coming up with.

    There is a natural situated behind the main base making for easily defendable expansions. Naturals are easy to secure once you break the rocks that block the cliffs. Cliff mobility will be key in this map especially if you are in diagonal positioning. Line of sight grass is around the Xel'Naga making it easier for an attentive player to micro units away or to the Xel'Naga without being seen by an opponent. Line of sight grass is also around each entrance to long corridors that run along the middle of the map. Careful dont get caught in these with your pants down the results will be brutal. Xel'Naga Towers can be used to see the gold expo and any activity that may be happening there. The Gold Expansions are very vulnerable to attack so they are a risky bet to take.

    Overall I am looking for feedback on how to make the gameplay better. I would like to add more trees but i do not want it to hinder any gameplay around cliffs etc please let me no what you think about this.

    posted a message on [solved] How do you resize existing doodads?

    doodads are easy after you placed it select the doodad and use the + or - keys on your num-pad then you can copy and paste that larger/smaller doodad to get the effect you want hope that helped :)

    I truly dont see why they have this in place. They need to ban themselves first and close their accounts shit! They curse in the campaign people get split in half as the above post states, and people get melted into acid. It also goes on to state that we cannot have extremely violent actions in our maps....... So does that mean we can't publish melee maps cause last time i checked the entire goal of those maps was utter destruction of your opponent through ripping them limb from limb...... Get over it blizzard you cant censor our fucking lives....... I really wanted to make a Revenge of the Ni@@ers map too that was one of my favs in WC3 :( :(

    Edit Select All to copy everything and do it in the terrain layer have both maps open Ctrl + C then switch windows, and Ctrl + V. Should get what you want i can try and help more if it doesnt ;)

    posted a message on Patch 16 Patch Notes

    Few things i have noticed so far first off an achievements menu/button in top left now where menu message log etc is. Second thing i noticed was when you win there is now a new victory screen (haven't checked defeat but i would assume so as well). The victory screen features your current races logo. Xel'Naga watch towers now have a new icon in game it is an eye looking icon reminds me of the detector button.
