    Hey

    starters there's 30 abilities. The switch idea is ideal for what im working on. I have the first two rows on command card 1 taken, leaving the bottom row free. If i were able to cycle between the bottom row and the abilities that would be great.

    For now i have buttons on the bottom row, that links to command cards 2,3,4.

    Is what your talking about a work around for changing the "bottom bar" (bottom row) to cycle between different buttons in other command cards without actually visiting the card?

    Would anyone be able to Create a set of Rune Icons for me. Elements are Water, Earth, Air, Fire, Mind, Body, Soul. Looking for a dark-gothic take on the generic rune/magic look. ( darker shades, more horror ect )

    Hey would anyone be able to create a set of icons for my spell casting system.

    I have 7 Runes ( air, fire, earth, water & Mind, Body, Soul) that all need their very own icon :D

    I could see this as a fun challenge for somebody to get inspiration from the elements.

    If I were to give a theme, i'd say Wizards and Magic, mysterious you know how it is ;P

    I've been working on something like this but it just seems to be so tedious adding extra requirements (more than the buff has even) was looking for something a bit more compact.

    Thats a really good starting idea, will work on it further. In terms of adding a duration, how would i go about adding a timer onto the ability?

    And thankgod i'm not looking for something that knocks off previous buffs ;P i'm creating a system where you need 3 buffs in order to cast particular spells. I do however need a plan to figure out how to remove the buffs after the spell has been cast.

    I have a unit that has 7 buff spells to choose from. I need to know how i can set a cap on the unit allowing only 3 at one time. At this stage the unit can buff all 7 spells on himself at one time.

    yeah, that's sort of on the line what im thinking, but i'm looking for more how to actually to do it in the editor myself ;D

    Anyone else have any ideas how this could be achieved?

    (creating a system where you need 3 buffs to activate a spell, after which cast, will loose all buffs)

    Hey, i'm working on a spell casting system that uses buffs to trigger and unlock abilities. For this example ill use the Queen but add a new buff called "sick" What "sick" will do is unlock the Queen's spell creep tumor, i need to cast "sick" on myself in order for Creep Tumor to become available.

    This is the type of thing i'm after, i want to eventually create a series of buffs that need to be active on a unit in order to unlock spells.

    For thoes of you who have played invoker in DoTA it's kind of that idea, how he has to buff orbs in order to activate spells.

    Does anyone know where i could start to learn about how to create something like this?

    Hey, I'm working an idea that i just cant figure out how to get around.

    I'm trying to create a buff system where a combination of certian buffs will unlock particular spells. eg, I have a ability that needs 3 different buffs on my hero before i can cast the spell. (think invoker from dota - how he has to cast a combination of orbs to unlock different spells ) How would i go about starting this? If anyone is willing to walk me though the process, or interested in hearing more, i'm happy to make donations for your time :)
