err.... I mean the "Manage Published Version" at my map page here at sc2mapster, not the one in SC2 editor. Sorry that I didn't make it clear in the title.
No direct solution but I did use a workaround as mentioned above. It should work fine in most situation. If you don't understand my description above, just open a game and choose the B.O.T. (i.e. A.R.E.S) and you will see what I mean.
I had already repeated step 3 for at least 4-5 times. I kept checking that page again everyday since my map appeared on sc2ranks but the published map page still doesn't recognize my map.
sc2ranks is buggy / lagging too. It still says that my map has only been played 15 times which is definitely not the case as myself and my brother have already played a lot more than this, and other people played it as well. I guess it takes some time for it to update the data.
My map can already be seen on the popularity list of NA, though still quite low down the list. Yet I still can't get the "Manage Published Versions" to work. Did I misinterpret the function of it?
My comment: the intention of what Blizz did is totally legit and reasonable, but they handled it very poorly and up to now it only did more harm than good to them. Hopefully they took the lesson and will not make similar mistake again in the future. =/
Not sure if the popularity system is reset or not after patch 1.13. I could find my map within top 100 new maps a few days ago but it disappeared since the patch.
I published my map on 4 Nov to NA and SEA. I also created a map page here. However, when I went to the "Manage Published Versions" section and tried to add my map on NA and SEA, it always said "Published map does not exist in our database." I followed its suggestion and updated the map at sc2ranks.com. The map was recognized by sc2ranks.com soon afterward. However, I still can't add the published versions of my map here. Am I doing something wrong?

I used Hellion attack in the original version but the weak thin line of fire just doesn't match the heavy look of the B.O.T. (i.e. the A.R.E.S. in the campaign secret mission). Anyway, the ability works well now. The only concern is I need to know whether drawing multiple copies of the fire in small time intervals would cause lag on some slower machines.
I used Perdition Turret's attack as the Napalm Burninator's model. However, for some strange reason it does not display the fire occasionally even the target is damaged. This usually happens in the first few casts, then it works fine for a long time, then the fire may randomly disappear again. Spended a whole day to try to find out the cause, replaced a few model, tested changing a lot of field but no effect. Finally I used a work around by hooking the actor to another effect so that it is called multiple times everytime Napalm Burninator is cast.
I used a new model for Napalm Burninator. Due to some strange bug I needed to create multiple copies of the model to make it works, so please tell me if you find that makes the graphic laggy.

My map is in picture 2! =)
btw, I still can't add my map to sc2mapster popularity page even though it is already listed at sc2ranks.com. =/

Annoying bug..... Hope someone can find the solution. Maybe Blizz will fix it eventually.
Btw, I added a new preview picture to make the map looks more professional! ;)

Updated again.
I used a new model for Napalm Burninator. Due to some strange bug I needed to create multiple copies of the model to make it works, so please tell me if you find that makes the graphic laggy.
