I hope they don't remove "Debates" just because there's topics such as "Justin Bieber is not gay" and you can type any bad word you want in the dialogs.
You should try to calm down, leave sc2 a bit and take some fresh air. Change your mind man. I know you are really pissed off because your map didn't work out, but we are all in the same bag. I saw a lot of your posts and I was able to see the bad progression of your temper. Cursing all the way at Blizzard won't change anything. You should just wait the patch that will change the popularity system and do something else until then.
What you are doing is not good for yourself and you just risk getting an infraction sooner or later.
Tactical Operatives is a map where two teams need to fight for Control Points. Each team can choose from a range of units. 5 vs 5. Each player can control up to 8 units at the same time and use strategy and teamwork to obtain the valuable Control Points.
Units
Units with high armor are tough, they can stand on a poc and absorb damage like a rock, but beware of amor piercing weapons.
Units with speed can hunt key units of the opposing force and steal far, undefended pocs.
Some Units are specialized in long range, fixed point, splash damage, they are artillery.
Units with camouflage can easily go unnoticed behind enemy line and go for a surprise attack, they can avoid artillery damage.
Units with high damage can defend Control Points and clear other units with ease, but they are not resistant.
Key Gameplay Elements
Control Points
When you stand on an enemy poc with a non-camouflaged unit, your units will immediately start to steal the poc. It takes 40 seconds to steal a poc. If your units move out of the poc or get killed, the poc resets.
Camouflage
Units that are camouflaged can't be seen. However, you can still see their shadow. If you or one of your teammate mouse over a camouflaged unit, the unit will be revealed and will be killable. That's right! If you scan the area with your mouse, you will be able to reveal camouflaged units to your team. The enemy will be aware of it and might run around to avoid your mouse. Most camouflaged units will be relatively slow to avoid frustration.
(mouse hidden in screenshots below)
Win Conditions
Each team starts with 2000 points. Each ten seconds, based on the number of kills and the number of pocs you have, you will lose points. If you kill more units and you control more Control Points, you will lose less points. The first team to reach 0 points lose the game.
Other toughts
I have taken a lot of ideas from the game Shattered Galaxy. I chose to exclude some concepts from the game to make the map simple and easy to grasp. I want a game to be fast and fun. I'm taking suggestions. This is my first map ever since Starcraft Broodwar, I never edited in wc3. It is a really fun and learning experience. My goal is to have this map released not long after game release. I will continue to work on this map if it is played and popular.
There is a problem with your method. If a unit is in darkswarm, it gets the behavior as "buff" that last for x seconds. The problem, if the unit move outside the darkswarm, it still has that "buff" and is still invulnerable.
Solution : Make the buff last for a very short period of time and make dark swarm recast that buff a lot.
Woohaa, those are all great and huge ideas, but I'm just starting out. I want this map to be awesome so if we can work on this as a team that'd be great.
The Imp is a staple of every battlefield with its amazing ability to adapt any situation. It is the only infantry unit with access to flame weaponry. It can make the enemy think he is an ally for maximum infiltration and surprise bbq.
Could anyone point me to something I could read that would allow me to do the transition ?
I am completly lost.
I have no problem to understand terrain, the concept of zones or what are triggers are. I'm having issue with behaviors, points, camera, the triggers system?? Everything was easier to read with scmdraft, now the triggers ui is just plain awful.
I hope you understand my issue, I know how to map, I know how to code. I have lots of ideas. I am just plain lost in the tool and how to make the editor do what I want it to do like I used to do it in Broodwar.
Thank you very much for this website and all the tutorials by the way.

On another note, if you want your map to be played by some people, just enter the Map Night. Check out the thread http://forums.sc2mapster.com/general/general-chat/5613-map-nights/

Map Nights
Hello fellows Sc2mapsterrans, I want to organize something for you.
Concept
The concept comes from Starcraft 1. Every night we gather and we play original maps that are UNKNOWN. We get to try new maps every nights.
It helps map makers with their maps and we get to have some fun.
Where?
Since Chat Channels are not done yet, we can gather on irc
chat.freenode.net #SC2MapsterMapNight
and organize some.
-> http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=SC2Mapster,SC2MapsterMapNight
When
Map nights start at
North American Servers
How
If nobody is there to lead the map night, feel free to take control.
If you want your map played in a map night, you can post it here.

In demonette's map:
Had all my hydras attack another hydra under swarm. Moved the hydra really far and it was still invulnerable for about 5-6 secs.

Hey,
I am working on a map featuring a remake of Shattered Galaxy Units and a basic map.
I am new to the editor and never did any wc3 map so it's going to be a learning experience for me.
Features I want
Units done or almost done :
Mantlet
The Mantlet is a heavily armed and armored unit, capable of opening up to protect allied infantry forces.

Next Unit
Imp
The Imp is a staple of every battlefield with its amazing ability to adapt any situation. It is the only infantry unit with access to flame weaponry. It can make the enemy think he is an ally for maximum infiltration and surprise bbq.
