I made a custom unit and I want it to be visible through the fog of war (gray mask). I set it to Snapshot, and the snapshot actor to Snapshot. I even put the Structure flag to On, just in case it could be related. But nothing. Once a unit is far from it, it disappears. I want it to be still visible like a building.
It is possible the model just can't do it ? I tried many things with no results.
How can I activate a simple site mover on a unit actor, by using a behavior.
I tried and failed, nothing seems to happen. I used MoverMove and RefSetFromMsg Host Sender, but still nothing is happening. Any data guru knows what is going on ?
I want to make a unit lift off then stay lifted, still, until behavior is off. When it's off the unit will smoothly go back to the ground. (Elevator)
How can I change the catalog LifeArmorName text to something different. It takes a text key as a value but I don't know how I can change the text of a text key. I'm sure someone out there knows how to do this. It would really help me.

Is Blizzard planning to add more modifiable fields to the Editor ? Because right now I can't make any more progress for my map until I can :
Change the Effects array of a Set Effect. Change the value of a CompareVital Validator.
And sometime it seems the read-only fields are really random. I don't see any logic behind them.
Ie: you can change the unitArmorName but you can't change the name of weapons???

Ok I see what you mean after checking.
There is a fog visibility field on the UNIT too. Not just the ACTOR....
So that's it. I had to set it on the unit AND the actor...

No matter what model I put. The unit still disappears.
So it seems it's a bug. A really annoying one. I'm lost.

No it can't move. I don't know what actor setting it is. I thought it was Snapshot but that just won't do it.

I just started working on this map again since chat channels.
You can now choose your units in a dialog window each time your squad dies.
Trebuchets are in, cloaked tanks that are good against light units and are good poc stoppers.
Retreating your units now works. I also added an opening cinematics and tips to explain the basic of the game to newcomers.
Anyone that ever played shattered galaxy will see where I am going with this. I now need to add more units.

Redrigo, that was a Zone Control we tested that didn't work. Hydras didn't attack.
