    Anyway long story short, I have this friend who sent me his map so i can work on it and help him out, but ive been having this issues because his map uses mods. Now he sent me his mods and i even created a folder for them on the Sc2 installation files but nothing seems to work as it should. I also did another post about this problem im seeing when i log on.

    Hello i currently have a mac computer and my friend has a windows computer. I dont know why but when he sends me his file so i can work on his map some of the Units disappear. Its weird i know but i assure you that when i open the file he sents some of the hero units he created for the game are totally gone. Does this have to do with me having a mac and him having windows? If not then whats going on?

    Also but not least, we're trying to figure out how can i work on his map because everytime i try to work on his map i get a notification about me needing some dependency files or mods. This doesnt happen to me when i work on other maps. And like i said before some file go missing for some reason. We really need to solve this in order for me to help him in his map.

    Hello, this is what i could find about how the barrack price work. Refund right now is done via data, but i'm thinking this might have to be done via triggers too since the barrack price totally depends on the trigger i'm showing you on this picture. I just dont know how to attach both so refund gets upgrade same as cost.

    Hello, im interested in using the Salvage ability in a barrack unit we have in our game. The problem is the barracks price keep increasing each time you buy one so the refund wont be accurate because this is done by triggers and not using obviously the cost shown under the Unit Tab. The upgrade is done in data but it uses triggers. I was wondering if someone cold help us out and tell us how to get the accurate refund back for the price the user spent on the barrack.

    Im reading...analyzing and posting more reply soon. This fix will definitely help me out with other stuff big time. It appears that the switch effect helps to minimize work, i like it, didnt knew about it though. Posting more later. Still analyzing it.

    Ive been trying for month to duplicate the siege breaker (sieged) ability but with some changes done like for example:

    -It increases damage levels with experience (5 levels).

    -It auto-unmorphs

    -It has cooldown

    -It fires several times and fast.

    -It can target point.

    -Strikes are done by effects added to the morph ability and not he weapon.

    But i havent been able to get it right. Its so frustrating. Can somebody please check this map and tell me why. I was able to get it working with this set up but then when i added some triggers to the map (another map) the ability broke up some how, some way i dont know and it doesnt work. Also in this test map is the ability, the tank and all the actor and effects i have in the real map. Your help is appreciated. I wont use triggers for this, because i know its doable by data.

    i just need help right now with two abilities, thats all for now...How hard can it be?

    One is an auto-morph-attack-unmorph siege tank ability, and the other is duplicating the phase shift ability of the adept and adding 5 levels to each of the abilities (data exclusive).

    3. Agreed, that is the least dupe intensive solution unless using catalog triggers. For that problem the data/trigger hybrid solution is the easiest.

    4. Why not just use an actual damage effect?

    If you look at the archangel battle from HOTS it is not hard to blend triggers and effects for unusual situations.

    He did solved the issue but i do agree. It seemed he overly complicated the situation. Credits though for trying obviously. Im grateful anyway. Here i posted the latest version of the data way. I still haven't been able to get it to attack ground. Ive been studying your both ways the whole day. And ill definitely feel more safe doing it the data way but haven't got it to fire ground. I would also like it to attack using another persistent effect maybe? Rather than using a weapon? But where to put it? Should it be the first Set of the ability or should it come after the morph set?. Seems easier to level it also, this way i mean. Anyway you both been my heroes today lol. This is so tricky.
